Family Friendly 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath Family, Hot Tub and playground. Sleeps 12

Bring the whole family to this peaceful getaway retreat that has lots of room for fun. The kids can play on the playground while the parents relax on the patio or soak in the hot tub while watching the stars at night. The yard is enclosed with a decorative fence surrounded with flowers and rose bushes with a beautiful view of the countryside sunsets. 4 large Bedrooms, 3 baths and 2 family rooms. 3 bedrooms all on the main level. Note: Please read more description.

2 bathrooms on Main Level Master bath walk-in shower. Guest bath with shower/tub.
Basement: Bedroom 4 - 1 King
Living room: 1 Queen, 2 Twin beds,
Guest access. The whole house and backyard.

The shed and garage are NOT for access and the doors will be locked.
Storage room in the basement is locked and NOT for access.

Other things to note. No smoking in the house. If smoking outside only by the firepit and use smoker receptacle. No pets allowed in the house or anywhere on the property. If the house smells like smoke or pet odor, there will be an additional $300 cleaning fee.

DO NOT Climb on the fence or pull on the bars. They are easily damaged, and guest may have to pay a damaged/replacement fee.

NO CLIMBING on: trees, top of swing set, outside of playhouse, or sitting on top of the hottub cover. If any of these are damaged, you can incur an additional fee of $500 and up. Hot tubs and fences are expensive to fix so please respect our home, or you will incur fees for broken or damaged items.

All guests must read and follow the Hot Tub Safety Rules posted at the house for hot tub and playground. No hair dye or self-tanning allowed to be done at the house or if recently done do not use the hot tub as it will come off and leave stains in the tub.

Security Cameras in the front yard and backyard

House is 1 Block from the St. Marys Riverside Park which also has a walking trail, basketball, Frisbee Golf, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, playground equipment and shelter houses.

Note: Sport equipment available to borrow.

St. Marys, KS, is a town rich in history. The magnificent Immaculata Church opened in May 2023. The Largest SSPX-built Church in the World!

St. Marys Pay Station Museum is a fun way to spend the afternoon learning more about the history of St. Marys. Only open 1 pm to 4 pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Local businesses around town are Country Store, Coffee Shop, apparel & home decor, plant market, Catholic bookstore, natural health, computer store, and a variety of restaurants.

Jeffrey Energy Center is 10 miles north of St. Marys that has 2 large fishing lakes open to the public. Must check in at the main gate and sign in to fish or bird watch.

Oregon Trail is 5 miles west of St. Marys with great hiking trails and shelter house for picnics.

Paxico, KS: is only 15 miles away that has many antique shops, bar and grill and wineries. Blues Festival in Paxico, KS September 16, 2023. Free Event and Fun!

Rossville, KS - 8 miles
Tall Corn Festival
The Rossville Tall Corn Festival is an annual event that takes place in Rossville, Kansas. The festival is held on the second weekend of August every year1. The event started almost 100 years ago on a hot summer weekend as a way for the town to kick off harvest season2. The festival features fine art, fine craft, crafts, film, commercial/retail, homegrown products and corp./information exhibitors, food booths and street dance on Saturday night on Main Street.

Wamego has lots of yearly events - 15 miles west of St. Marys on Hwy. 24.

Lovely weekend getaway with friends

My friends and I enjoy getting away for a weekend where we can relax, visit and catch up. This house is perfect for the 8 of us. Plenty of room to visit together, or to spread out inside, and the back yard is so serene. The hot tub is so relaxing. And the house is so well furnished, the hosts have thought of everything.

Five star home! Perfectly clean with extra amenities like robes and towels for the jacuzzi. Beds were comfortable and Sherry was the nicest host always promptly answering any questions we had. A perfect home for a great getaway with my five high school friends who all graduated together fifty years ago!

Girls weekend

This house is super clean and family friendly with options for sleeping many. The kitchen has everything you need. The hosts are very helpful and easy to contact with any questions. The location close to lots of towns with fun things to do.you wont be disappointed.

Excellent house and amazing host

I can't say enough about the house and location. It was perfect for my kids. They enjoyed the playground in the backyard and the sports equipment. The park was really close by and an easy walk for the family. Sherry was an amazing host and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. We can't wait to come back.

Wife’s Brithday

We stayed the weekend for a family celebration of my wife’s birthday.The downs stairs and outside play area were perfect for the kids to gather, and the kitchen and dining area was lovely for meal time. Great experience for all of us.

Wonderful relaxing weekend with friends in the PERFECT house

My friends and I take a weekend getaway 2-3 times a year and this is the best place we've ever stayed. Excellent hot tub, plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out, nice "extra touches" that just made us feel welcomed. The host was quick to respond to questions, and very helpful. We have literally nothing but good things to say about this rental!

Perfect weekend getaway with friends

our friend group returned to this house to enjoy some quiet time, and it was everything we hoped it would be. The neighborhood is perfectly quiet so we could sit outside to read or enjoy the hot tub. Downtown is just blocks away so some of us walked to the shops. The house itself is set up so that the 8 of us have plenty of room to eat together, play games, or just relax. We loved it!

Pilgrimage to Immaculata and a family birthday.

A beautiful house for a wonderful visit to St. Marys. My family of five, with grandparents and an aunt were all comfortable with room to spare. We were able to host family in town one evening and had four generations for dinner and visiting. There is something to do for all and more than enough room. House was very clean, had everything we could think of, even fun things we didn’t need (bath robes and slippers) which the ladies thought was awesome. Thank you so much for a wonderful accommodation, we will certainly bookmark this for future visits.

College roommates yearly get together

Once a year my college roommates and I along with their families get together for a long weekend. We are in Missouri and Colorado so we decided this year to try a central location in Kansas. We loved this small town and house. We had 8 adults and 3 children with us. We felt like we had plenty of room while still feeling like a home to us. More than everything was available at the house to make you feel comfortable. We enjoyed the back yard, too. We walked downtown one afternoon and enjoyed some cute shops and local cuisine. One evening, we walked the short walk to the town park. The host were wonderful to work with and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Peaceful St Marys

This lovely home was perfect for our trip. The home is exactly like the photos. We arrived in the evening after a long day of travel and Sherry left us snacks, eggs, drinks, and fruit. It was just what we needed after a long day. The kitchen has everything you might need. It turned out we did need the kitchen as a winter storm came through and we cooked 90% of our meals there. There is a nice local market for food shopping. The beds and bedding were very nice and cozy. There were plenty of options to take advantage of such as the hot tub, fire pit, outdoor eating area, TV. movies and children’s playground. Sherry left us with some ideas of things to do in the area. We were able to go to the Oz Museum in Wamego 13 miles away, local coffee shop and cafe. This is a very peaceful and enjoyable getaway, we did not hear one siren or horn honk during our visit. The weather did not cooperate and we ended up leaving a day early. Sherry offered and gave us a refund for the last day. That kindness and attention to detail sums up our trip and this VRBO.

We grew up in St. Marys and lived in St. Marys area the last 12 after returning back to KS after spending 20 years in Texas and California. We love gardening and spending time with our family and love spending time in the flint hills enjoying God's country. We love our house so much and we are thrilled we are able to offer our home for rent for guests to be able visit their loved ones and enjoy everything St. Marys has to offer.

The peace and quiet in St. Marys. Very Safe and close and easy access to Manhattan and Topeka. 30 minutes one way to each location.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We have a beautiful and relaxing backyard. Watching the sunsets from the backyard that opens up into the countryside. The beautiful spring and summer flowers will attract birds, butterflies and hummingbirds.

We have a Lifetime Playset that is safe for kids with 3" of rubber mulch. To top it off, we have an Artic Spa hot tub which sits 8 adults and has 5 powerful jets to relax you like no other hot tub. This winter you can sit outside in freezing cold temps and enjoy the hot tub while the snow is falling. Propane firepit, outdoor seating for 12 guests, and propane grill.
