Excellent location and view

We enjoyed the balcony facing the ocean, the room was spacious and comfortable, location was close to beach and walking distance to restaurants and bars

We have stayed in 5 different units in Kihei Akahi over the past couple of years. We love the location and the views from the D Building. The positives about this condo are the view, location, decor and overall cleanliness. They have updated the shower/bathroom area and provide paper towels, dish and laundry soap. Bed was very comfortable. Customer service was excellent. We made a mistake on our checkout date since we were moving to a different unit in same building. When we reached out via phone, the person we spoke to was gracious and accommodating. Thank you! Reasons I would not rent again—the AC and the worn down accommodations in the room. The AC was the deal breaker for us. It was 90 every day and the trade winds didn’t cool off the room. Usually we don’t bother with AC in Maui but we just couldn’t get cool this time. They have a very old AC unit low in slider that cools living room but nothing in the bedroom. Miserable sleeping experience. The areas showing they are worn—rusted metal curtain rod, dirty fingerprints on curtains, ottoman was stained dirty from overuse, couch pillows stained/dirty, cooking pans were warped, scratched and really gross. Silverware quality mismatched and cheap like goodwill. It just felt like items in unit were low quality—not much pride of ownership. Ripped plaster on wall by slider. This condo is by far the “cheapest” feeling accommodations we have ever experienced for Kihei Akahi. Hope owners update soon—your place has great potential

Very Good

Nice property. Great location. Some kitchen items should be updated. (cutlery, frying pans, knives, etc) Hosts were easy and wonderful to deal with. Overall our stay was very good.

Great location

Great location across the street from the beach. Easy to watch the sunset every evening. Quiet. Shops & a few restaurants were within easy walking distance.Not one box of tissue in the condo, the tiniest sliver of bar soap, the smallest shampoo bottles known to mankind & not one drop of hand or body lotion. The shower track had probably never been cleaned since the shower was installed. And while the microfiber towels might be effective, a nice, fluffy beach towel cannot be beat.
