The Space:
When you walk into the front door of our home, you'll be amazed how open and charming the living space is with the high ceilings. The stone fireplace is an absolute eye catcher that will make you want to grab a book and slip into relaxation mode.
Natural light flows during the day through the home while you will have the gorgeous view of the lake out the large windows. Relax on the comfortable sofa or out on the large deck to watch and listen to the nature that surrounds while drinking your morning coffee or happy hour glass of wine.
You will be at home in the large kitchen that is equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals for all of your guests. Stainless steel appliances, double oven, all pots and pans, dishes and utensils are here for you. Gas grill located right outside the kitchen doors on the deck.
The master bedroom is located of of the main living area, then there is a second smaller living room.

Guest Access:
The whole home will be yours for your vacation enjoyment. Enjoy the cozy bedrooms, full kitchen, fireplace, outdoor eating and or course the lake.

The Neighborhood:
Home is located on Benway Lake, which is part of the Upper Chain of Lakes. Benway Lake is located just 2.6 miles from Central Lake, in Antrim County, in the state of Michigan. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including bream/bluegill, rock bass, largemouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, northern pike, smallmouth bass, perch, crappie and muskie here. Benway is an all-sports lake. Because of minimal traffic, it is also perfect for kayaking and canoeing. We have three one-person kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle board for your use, as well as life jackets. Enjoy wildlife such as loons, swans, and even the occasional bald eagle.
Please note: There is not a sandy beach at this property, but both Lake Michigan and Torch Lake beaches are just ten minutes away. We do not recommend swimming off the dock but there are a few sandy areas across the lake to the left, on Wilson Lake to the north, and on Intermediate Lake to the south. Pontoon boats can get to all of the lakes. Bring your own boat and put it in on Wilson Lake just down from the home.

Several ski resorts are accessible. Schuss Mountain is a 25 minute drive, Boyne Mountain 35 minutes.

The best northern Michigan golf courses are all a short drive away: Bay Harbor, Shanty Creek, Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, A-Ga-Ming, Antrim Dells, Belvedere, and Dunmaglas. Benway Bliss is a great base location for golfers who enjoy playing a different course each day.

Other Things to Note:
There are 3 floors to this property and dock path down to the lake. So if you are not able to do stairs, it could be a challenge for you.
There is a gas fireplace for cozy winter nights.
Plenty of outdoor dining space for the summer nights and a fire pit for making smores.
