The Shaw Ranch. A custom luxury cabin nestled on 30 acres in hocking Hills completed in 2023. Cabin sleeps up to 10 people. 4 bedrooms with a picturesque basement living room that can sleep 2 more. Located just 10 minutes from Old Mans Cave. Cozy up to our on site Fire Pit and take in the amazing 360 degree views or Toss around a few bags of corn hole. This Place is the perfect place for friends or family. Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended.

We had a really nice stay here, quiet peaceful and a beautiful setting. Lots of room and exceptionally clean house. Close to all hiking trails and parks, and communication with hosts was fast and easy, quick to answer any questions I had. Thanks!

Clean, beautiful home. Property management was very helpful and responsive on VRBO for any questions. Only negative was the wifi. Our devices and the downstairs TV had very poor connection, which was disappointing because we planned to use the downstairs to watch a big football game. Upstairs TV worked fine. Overall, we still had a great time.

Great place! Kitchen with all the tools we needed to cook. Games for the kids. Appreciated the high chair. Beautiful property. Easy to drive to. Quiet. Comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Will come back!

Great Group Getaway

We went on a 50th anniversary celebration for my parents and everyone loved the house, especially the outdoor spaces and central air. The host communicated very well and addressed any questions I had in a very timely manner. It was a very beautiful setting and was pretty centrally located to everything we wanted to see in the area. The driveway includes some parking spots to the side, which made it very convenient for us because we brought 3 vehicles total. The only recommendation I have is maybe plan to bring some pans if you're planning a lot of cooking. There were some available but very limited. Also, the downstairs bathroom is very cozy, but the overall value of the property and space was amazing and I would highly recommend.

Autumn Serenity & Solitude at the Ranch!

Our weekend stay was everything we could have asked for. The property is gorgeous & well manicured. We spent time at the fire pit & indulging in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked & we utilized the recommended chef who made our experience top tier. We brought our own dishware & I’m glad we did because we couldn’t find dishes that fit our aesthetic but that was a personal girls weekend preference. We would also recommend window dressings in all of the bedrooms. Everything else was perfect!

Beautiful Home and View

We can’t say enough good things about this property. Great views - rolling hills on the ranch allowed for us to enjoy the fall colors surrounding the property. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. House is as pictured - even had cute fall decorations at the door and in the living room, which was a nice touch. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit while we were there. The kitchen is set up with everything you could possibly need if you chose to cook in. The microwave was a combo convection, air fryer and microwave. The owners have definitely thought through everything you would need - including extra charging ports in all the rooms. A few days before your arrival you will receive a link with directions and everything you need. Follow those instructions- particularly downloading the map. Cell service in the area is spotty! Loved our stay and would definitely book again if we were in the area.

LOVED IT

We had an amazing stay at the Shaw Ranch!! We always do a family hiking trip every year and this VRBO did not disappoint! The property is GORGEOUS and so well maintained. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is so spacious! The location is perfect. It is in the Rockbridge area near the Rockbridge Nature Preserve, Cantwell Cliffs, The Rock House. It's also very convenient to the town of Logan. We had no problems getting down to the Old Man Cave/ Cedar Falls/ Ash Cave area. We hiked (everywhere) cooked, played games, had a campfire... it was FABULOUS! If you plan on cooking, bring a few specialty items if you need them. Even things like salt and pepper were needed. There's a ton of coffee and tea supplies! Great wine/beverage fridge. We also needed to buy hand soap and dish soap. No big deal! The property manager communicated so well and easily with us. If we come back to Hocking Hills next year, we will definitely stay here again! I've already given the link to two of my friends!
