It was a perfect spot, pool and all!

We had a wonderful time in Kill Devil's Hill. The house was a perfect spot for our family, most of it being on one floor as well as the cleanliness of the space. We had a baby with us so your baby items were quite helpful. Thanks so much!

Kill Devil hills house

Home was exactly as stated in VRBO. Clean and generous sized rooms. Quiet neighborhood close to beach- 3 mins drive and walk to bay for lovely sunset views. Nice sized pool and clean pool area. We all had a wonderful stay here. The owners were very responsive to all my questions and their instructions for entry and check out were very clear and reasonable.

Eagles Landing is the Best Nest

The house is beautiful and in a great quiet neighborhood a few minute walk from beautiful sunsets and a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from great public access beach access. Great grocery stores are 3 minutes away. Feels like the quietest street but feels like the heart of OBX. The pool was great and so were the neighbors. Jim was a great host.

Great trip!

Truly enjoyed our stay in this very quiet neighborhood. Short drive to the beach and anything you’d need is just around the corner. House was fully stocked for cooking. Highly recommend!

Great location with pool!

We absolutely loved our stay! Location was super convenient with the new Wawa and Target across the street for last minute/quick necessities! The pool was wonderful after a long day at the beach! Our family would stay again!

Great House!

It was perfect for our family of 5 (adult kids). Pool was awesome. Only thing that would make it better is a bathroom on lower level but still a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Great location!

House was very clean and instructions were very clear. Host was responsive with any questions. Good location to sound and walking distance to WAWA (coffee). Could walk to beach but chose not to. Enjoyed the pool everyday!

Our stay

This was our second time staying in this home on vacation. We love it. it is so clean and comfortable and the private pool is great for us. The house is close to both ocean and sound side and it was convenient to everything we needed to get to. Jim is a fantastic host and when we first got there we had a hiccup getting in the house but we called and Jim answered right away and helped us. We will definitely be staying again.

Daughters Surprise Engagement

Very nice spot near the sound!

We enjoyed our stay! Short walks to the sound for sunsets and close to restaurants. We would recommend for a family. Pets allowed was a big plus.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Everything about the property was perfect for our family vacation this year. The house was just as described and was very comfortable. We were able to enjoy the pool as we had perfect weather for the week. House is located in a very nice neighborhood that is close to shopping, eating and the beach. Family getaway

The pool was a lifesaver for the hot weather we had while visiting the Outer Banks. It was very enjoyable to have in our back yard. We also enjoyed the porches, both screened in for eating, and the front porch for relaxing. Everything was clean and ready for us, and Jim responded quickly when we had a question. We couldn't walk to the ocean beaches, but they were easy to drive to. The central location was great for extra activities and having stores close by.

Perfect location

The property was nice and well maintained. It was in a quiet area of Kill Devil Hills away from all the regular hustle and bustle (but not too far). The owners have put a lot of work into the property and keep up with it. All the basic are provided, which is really nice and decreases the hassle of packing.

Beach vacay for family 2023

House is very nicely taken care of and neighborhood is very quiet. House accommodated our family and we enjoyed the porch and pool alot. Bedding is excellent and washer and dryer are very helpful. I'll be back again and my family agrees.

Most Relaxing Vacation

This property was perfect for our family. A total of 7 adults and 2 dogs. The fenced in yard with a grassy area was perfect. Amazing in ground pool. Perfect outdoor table to have a low country boil on. The owners are amazing to work with, very tentative to all our needs and questions. Very quiet neighborhood and walking distance to beautiful sunsets.

Christian, beach lover, IT guy turned beach home builder. I have always been inspired by Isaiah 40:31, which is where the house got its name. My hope is that people who come to visit will grow closer together and to God and soar on wings of eagles.

My family has been going to the outer banks for my entire life. There is no greater, more beautiful place on earth! Be sure to catch the great sunrises and sunsets over the water. The island is packed with history and there is lots to see and do.

With tons of upgrades over the fall and winter this house is a 1/4 mile off of the bypass and it is very quiet back on Fourth st near the sound. The stars are great at night out on the front porch in the adirondack chairs, and the breeze on the screened in side porch is unmatched. Extra fridge/freezer in laundry room. Don't miss this one for some great R&R.
