Great Location but no response from owners or property management

Upon arrival could not get the gates to open to access parking spot. Called owners and property management several time and still waiting for a call back. Thankfully a resident used her clicker to open the gate for us. We were afraid to go anywhere in our car because we couldn’t get back in. Then when leaving the gates wouldn’t work so we were trapped inside for 20 mins. I called property management and am still waiting for them to call me back. I literally had to get out of my car and physically push the gate open to leave and go home at 630 am. Very disappointing with no response from anyone while having problems at the property.

Best-kept secret in downtown!

Property owner and site manager quick to respond to questions and the property was lovely! Within walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions it was hard to choose! Pool was beautiful and well-maintained. Slight glitch with one television, but it wasn't needed, anyway. Plan to stay again when returning to Austin. Thanks for a delightful vacation.

Great place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay here. The complex is really charming with an outdoor pool and nice touches on the architecture. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a full kitchen if you're staying a while. Be aware this is only a rental--it's obvious that nobody every lives here so while there is coffee available, there are staples for cooking. I was attending a conference at the conference center and this complex is just one block away. Perfect. The only down side was that it is very noisy if there are people having a party around the pool. I was woken up at 5:30 in the morning (on a Monday!) by guitar playing and partying that sounded like it was occuring directly in my bedroom. I would definitely stay here again if I were in Austin for a short term stay!

Downtown Jem!

This place was SO adorable and cozy. It was clean, and everything was so comfortable. My husband and I were in town for ACL and the location was perfect. We walked to the venue and while it was a little of a trek, we enjoyed it. But the best part was that we could be close to everything also going on downtown. The manager was friendly, responsive and just awesome. We loved that we could park in a gated parking lot right behind the condo. We would SO recommend this place.

Clean, cute and perfect location!

We used this place for a girls weekend. It was perfect! It was fun to open the door onto 4th Street and watch the world go by as we were getting ready to go out. Having a designated parking spot was great. We parked the car and didn't return to it until departure. We felt very safe in the complex with the outside gate. Considering we were so close to 6th Street, we couldn't believe how quiet it was in our apartment. We walked everywhere all weekend and loved it. We look forward to coming back here again!

Great location, nice owner, great amenities

I stayed here for 4 nights during SXSW, and it was great on all counts. The place was spotless - like, really, really clean - and well-appointed, including a large TV, cable, fans, A/C, heat, etc. Lots of space - a full kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, hallway, and bedroom. Patrick is an excellent host and made sure that I had everything I needed for my stay. The place is located two blocks off of 6th Street, which is the nighttime beating heart of SXSW, and 2 blocks from the Convention Center, its daytime hub. Surprisingly, while it's near everything, noise was not a major factor. Road in front of condos does not close, so it's easy to get cabs, pedi-cabs, etc. There's even a parking space if you need it. I'd stay again.

I have always wanted to own/operate a hotel. That has been a passion of mine since I was a child. For that reason, I enjoy having guests staying in my rental properties, and I want to provide so much more than just a place to stay. My goal is to create a memorable experience for my guests.

I want my guests to know that not only does Austin deliver a good time, but that this home away from home is waiting for you. With my connections in the travel industry, and tenure in the city, I strive to provide a level of service you will not find with other rental managers.

If you are interested in hosting an even larger group, please note that I own and manage a large number of units in the same building complex, as well as some nearby houses. I am happy to host large groups for weddings, convention center trade shows, and other events in Austin.
