Hi, Sharon. Glad you had a good stay. I'm sorry you struggled with the steps; we do list there is no elevator. I'm sorry if you missed it. The water pressure seems good now, so not sure if it's personal preference or if there was some issue at the moment. We hope you enjoyed the views from the crow's nest as well.

Thank you for your feedback, Amanda. We’re truly sorry that your stay fell so far below expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to share the steps we took in response to your concerns. When you first reported dead bugs upon arrival, we immediately dispatched our housekeeping team to clean and address the issue. During that visit, our team asked if there was anything else that needed attention, and at the time, you indicated that there wasn’t. Later, when you reported that the floors were still dirty, we promptly sent housekeeping back to re-clean, and during that second visit, you requested a night’s compensation. Shortly afterward, you sent a photo indicating your daughter may have received a bug bite. One of our team members spoke with you by phone and informed you that we would have housekeeping return once more to inspect the couch for pests. During that call, you mentioned that a single night’s compensation would not be sufficient and asked what else we planned to do. I advised you to contact our Guest Experience line at 833-HI-AVANT for further support. You also noted that the provided dog crate was rusted. Our team immediately discarded the crate, and when you later requested that the rust stain on the outdoor patio be cleaned that same evening, we let you know that our grounds team would address it first thing in the morning. On the morning of October 24, when we reached out to confirm the visit, you informed us not to bother sending anyone over. We also attempted to follow up with you by phone the night before ensure no further concerns remained, but did not receive a response. A follow-up message via our guest support system also went unanswered. After that, we were notified that you had reached out to Guest Experience directly. Given the escalating nature of the situation and concerns raised—including the possibility of pests—our team determined it was appropriate to issue a full refund for your stay. However, out of caution for the condition of your belongings and to protect other properties and guests, we will not be offering a transfer to another home, as there’s a risk of pests being inadvertently relocated. We take guest comfort and property standards very seriously, and while this experience was far from what we strive for, your feedback has helped us identify areas that need immediate improvement. We truly regret the inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding.
