Might be the best Thanksgiving family vacation ever.We were a family of five adults, two teen age boys and two dogs.The host was in easy contact and helpful all the way through.House was better than as described on the website in every respect. Everyone including the dogs had a wonderful time!

This home and location are fantastic! Lots of privacy and just steps away from the beach! The house is amazing. It has everything that anyone could ask for and was very clean. The rental agency was very helpful and accessible for any questions. We will definitely come back!

Spring break!

We brought our 4 teen and 2 dogs to stay at the Knole house and we loved it! The kids had a great time in the game room and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is amazing and we enjoyed big breakfasts and dinners each day. So close to the beach! Thanks for an amazing few days!

A wonderful experience

We got away from town for Memorial day for a few days at the beach at the Knole House where almost anything we could think of was already provided. Sure, we supplied our own perishables, but plenty of cooking utensils, space, a game room with tons of activities, toys for our grandson, and more were available, and we could also find a part of the giant house where we could decompress for a while. I heartily recommend staying here for your vacation.

Family vacation

Very clean home with so many amenities….it rained on and off during our stay (late September) but the house was perfect- the game room was fun on rainy days- the beach and other outdoor activities on sunny days. I highly recommend checking out Cape Disappointment, and grabbing some clam chowder and driving down the beach (you can drive on the beach!) as well as clamming and a ride to Oysterville for the best fresh oysters. We are a family of 9- all mixed ages (from 10-26) and everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen was very well stocked- and loving to cook, I had a great time being in the beautiful kitchen preparing food. The house has wonderful antiques and some beautiful stained glass windows. Views are amazing. Walk to beach gorgeous and an easy walk. I gave it a 5 star because the house was even more great than the listing. Amber from Bloomer Estates was extremely helpful and very prompt at returning my inquiries. Lovely stay. Great memories.

Perfect Winter Getaway to the Beach

We love going to the coast during the winter. I need a hot tub, and an amazing kitchen, and my boys need a game room, and this house was perfect! I cook a LOT, and this kitchen had everything I needed! The game room was not only amazing, but everything actually works (which has not been the case at other VRBO's). The location is also amazing. We could sit in the living room and watch the bald eagles play in the wind. Then a short walk over the grass to the beach, where we flew kites, took long walks, and the boys even did a polar bear plunge. The staff was also WAY beyond helpful when we had a question, and this was even during the holidays. I can't say enough about this house and our experience. We would absolutely go back!

Large Beach Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home lives large! Fully stocked kitchen large enough for 3 cooks to all work comfortably together. The beds were comfortable and the game room was awesome entertainment for the young and old. The stained glass throughout the home is magnificent! Couple of small things could use attention: The knob on the pantry was completely off and sitting on the kitchen counter when we first entered. There were missing screens on several windows where it would have been nice to open them and get some fresh air. There were no steak knives! In a fully loaded kitchen, this was a huge oversight and unfortunately we didn't notice it until after we had barbecued our steaks. Lastly, several of the blinds in the home are broken making them impossible to open or close. All and all, gorgeous home and we will be back. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with those of us wanting to escape the city. Cindy

The kitchen had everything you needed and more plenty of dishes and silverware too so we didn't have to run the dish washer after every meal like a lot of places we have stayed at. We enjoyed the game room and we didn't even have kids with us. We used the hot tub a lot, but would have even more if it was covered as it rained all weekend. Loved all the antiques and stained glass. Plenty of room for us and the dogs, we hope to be back.

The beds were comfy, plenty of bath linen was provided and the large kitchen was stocked with almost anything you might need. The pictures Bloomer Estates uses to advertise the property are deceiving however.The home was clearly great at one time as the pictures show but has fallen into a state of disrepair.Dog hair covered the sofa and area rugUnusable foosball, air hockey, basketball arcade game (scratched, rusted flat balls) Game tables all unlevel, some with pieces of paper to balance themMoldy showersFloors were filthy and bathroom amenities rusted to the tileJacuzzi had no chlorine. When management company was told about it they didn't fix it, just refunded money. Fireplace in upstairs room was intentionally disabled so a full size baby crib could be placed in front of it. Broken window shadesThere is just allot of unorganized "stuff" in this house.High chairs, nursing chairs,dog crate,kites and items other guests have left behind, kids toys- all items that our family didn't require but did require us to organize and move so games were accessible.On the outside the deck is dirty with moss and mold under a variety of more "stuff" and the lattice skirt around the deck is falling off.Upon renting you will receive so many emails with rules,notices as well as some helpful info tucked in for good measure. Bloomer Estates asks upon check out that you bring any concerns to them directly before posting a review so they can look into or rectify things but when we did the email we got back from the owner was "What exactly are you asking for?". Nothing at all,an apology would have been nice.A thank you for the time I spent using my tools to get the Foosball and air hockey table working but no,instead we got an email saying that we were being charged $260 for the vomit in the hot tub. No vomit happened anywhere,ever.The owner just g

Almost perfect!!

The house and location are amazing. We were all so impressed and comfortable during our stay!! The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the ocean from the kitchen nook and the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. Dabra was amazing and provided on the spot assistance with a couple of things we needed during our stay!! The only thing that we found that needs attention is the hot tub. Only 2 sets of the jets were working and the water would not heat past 98°. Outside of that it was perfect and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you for a great 50th birthday celebration location!!

Thanksgiving Holiday

Our whole family was very pleased with the Knole House. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to prepare all our breakfasts, snacks and our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed our time in the large dining room as a family. The game room was amazing! We actually spent most of our time playing ping pong, pool, and some of us spent quite a bit of time playing the “old school” games the arcade had to offer. The location is really nice and we loved the acreage. We could see the ocean from the downstairs and upstairs had an amazing view. The path/trail to the ocean was an easy walk, enjoyed by all. The BBQ on the covered deck worked great. The hot tub was beautiful. We took one day to visit Seaside and Cannon Beach, as they are less than an hour away. I think the one thing we would recommend is to inspect the pool sticks (for the pool table) and replace the tips/cues. It really is a great house in a nice location. My family really enjoyed spending time there. Another bonus with this house is that there is a guest house you can also rent. We did not rent the guest house, but it’s nice to know we could possibly rent both in the future.

Labor Day Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at the Knole House over the Labor Day weekend. The views, proximity to the beach and general layout were the highlights. The hot tub had not been maintained but as soon as we notified Bloomers the maintenance person drained, cleaned and prepped it for use. Our grandchildren spent a lot of time enjoying all of the games in the play area. There were a few repairs that needed to be made e.g., downstairs bed only lifts on one side. An area for improvement was cleanliness. The outdoor grill was filthy, the floors had not been cleaned, the kitchen vent was coated with grease. If I were a neat freak that would have been a major issue but all of the other benefits of the home outweighed it.
