• Paid parking is available in the building. Please note that parking spaces are limited in the building on a first-come, first-served basis. If parking in the garage is unavailable, you may utilize paid parking lots located close to the building.
• Parking fees: $45 per day.
Things to know
• Just a heads-up: parking spots are limited. You can secure your spot by booking in advance, and we'll provide detailed instructions on how to do so in your booking confirmation and check-in instructions.
• We may use video surveillance in public areas.
• For an additional fee, daily housekeeping services are available upon your request
• We know that you may want to check in early or stay late to enjoy your planned activities. PLEASE NOTE: If early check-in/late check-out becomes available, we’ll send you an email/text message with an offer to upgrade to an early check-in or late check-out.
• The number of overnight guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. Extra guests and visitors are not permitted without management consent. Violators will be charged $200 - $500 fine.
• Guest will need to present their ID and credit card for deposit.
• A refundable deposit of $300 is required

• House parties and illegal substances are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction. Violators will be charged a $500 fine.
• State Identification Card or Driver License copy will be requested upon booking.
• Local resident restrictions apply. Guests residing within a 100-mile radius are required to contact the host before booking.
• Traveler must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
• NO SMOKING in unit/house as well as the balcony. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $250.00 fine, plus the cleaning costs necessary to remove smoke odors from the unit/house and/or linens.
• Pets are not allowed. Violation of our pet policy may result in a $500 fine. We encourage guests with service animals to contact us before their stay. .
• Quiet hours are observed from 9 p.m. - 8am. Violators will be charged a $200 fine.
• Please note we are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, as well as stolen or damaged items that occur while on the premises, its facilities or parking lots.

Absolutely recommend this spot!

The rental property is absolutely beautiful and more than accommodated my family! It was clean, spacious, had a fully stocked kitchen and great location. Such a short walk to bourbon street without the noise of the city when you're sleeping! There was a parking garage directly next to the building too. Couldn't have been happier and will absolutely stay here again if I return to NOLA.

My experience with The California Building in New Orleans was extremely disappointing.I booked mybachelorette trip for 13 women traveling from out of state and received one confirmation email for one reservation covering 13 guests. Due to booking issues, I contacted the property and was transferred to Hosteeva. My maid of honor and I called multiple times before arrival to confirm everything was paid for and were told there were no issues.When we arrived, we were assigned two units. Because there were 13 of us, we assumed the property had split our group and had no reason to question it.After our stay, we were told there were two reservations and charged accordingly. However, I only ever received one confirmation email and documentation for 13 guests. I was never informed of a second reservation, never authorized one, and was never notified it existed. The second unit was assigned and charged on the day of arrival.I was later told that because both units were used, I am responsible for the charges. However, both were assigned by the property, and we relied on the information provided.Management said the general manager would call me, but that never happened. After following up, I was told through a front desk employee that a refund would not be issued. Amy at the front desk was kind and professional throughout.My goal is not just to recover the money but to make other travelers aware of my experience. If management provides a fair resolution, I will update this review.
