Tucked away in a serene, gated setting, this charming property in Mills River overlooks a scenic mountain lake and occupies a leafy five-acre lot. This property is an easy, eight-mile drive from the Asheville Regional Airport, 11 miles from Brevard, and 12 miles from the many charms of downtown Hendersonville. Just 14 miles away, visit Dupont State Forest with its beautiful waterfalls, and some of the best mountain biking and horseback riding in the state, or hike and sightsee in Pisgah National Forest, home to Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, and Sliding Rock.

Step inside the inviting main house to find vaulted ceilings, glowing pinewood accents, and a gas fireplace that adds a warm and welcoming feel throughout. Recent additions include a large sectional and a 65-inch TV next to the downstairs wet bar and a new bunk room with double bunk beds. There are many spaces to dine and relax outdoors with your loved ones, with new dining tables on the second-level deck as well as new front and back porch seating. Gaze across the lake from the two-level covered balcony, spread out between two living areas, and whip up tasty meals in the chef's kitchen. Sip drinks at the wet bar or take it lakeside around the firepit by the dock. A Ping-Pong table, cornhole, exercise bike, and kayaks are all available for recreational use.

Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, a desk and chair for your laptops, central air-conditioning, and an EV charger for guests to use.

Inside the cozy cottage, discover a compact, but full kitchen offering everything you need to prepare anything from quick snacks to full-course, home-cooked meals. Kick back on the sofa in the cozy living area and stream all your favorite channels, or fold up the Murphy bed, fold down the built-in desk, and set up your laptop to go online thanks to the complimentary internet access.

Outside on the deck, fire up your Blackstone gas grill and indulge in an alfresco experience beneath the tree canopy and then gather at the firepit in the evening to roast s'mores, share stories, and watch the stars come out.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The five-and-half-acre lake (stocked for fishing) is a non-motorized lake.
