Book this rustic, unique, super relax unit for the whole group to experience comfort, luxe, serenity, and style! Unit is located on the second floor (no elevator).

Beautiful near Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines equipped with top notch massage chair in a dedicated relax room.

Other things to note-

Carmel House Rules:

1. No pets allowed. Kindly inform us if you will be accompanied by a service animal
2. Absolutely NO food or drinks on furniture. Water is alright. Use kitchen & kitchen table.
3. No Shoes on furniture.
4. No guests staying over the amount in booking.
5. Please respect space & have a great stay

We have posted house rules in the unit, but this is just a gentle reminder—not meant to be taken personally. It’s simply to ensure our units stay up to standard and to share friendly tips.

Charges/Fees:

1. Smoking Fee - $150
2. Tampering with owners closet - $100
3. Tampering with Ring camera or Minut noise alarm - $150
4. High noise level during quiet hours (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) - $100
5. Excessive trash & debris (unit, patio or garage) - $75
6. Excessive amount of dirty dishes - $25
7. Damaged furniture, appliances, electronics
8. Forgotten items can be shipped with $100 + shipping and handling costs
9. Late check out can be accommodated until 12:30 pm for $50. Failure to check out without prior notice will result in a $100 charge.
10. Additional guest after confirmed booking is $15 per person.

Ideal location to access the best of West Des Moines

Clean, quiet, and comfortable condo with a fantastic location. Situated in a quiet development surrounded by green fields, the condo provides a relaxing feel, just a few short minutes away from Jordan Creek center and many other venues. The garage is located directly across from the building and there is plenty of on site parking for additional guests. The hosts provided easy access to digital check in and check out instructions. Highly recommend considering this property for any visit to West Des Moines!

Loved the location and the VRBO

Loved that we woke up to snow and watching a buck walk across the hill behind the apartment. The apartment exceeded expectations and was super comfortable and spacious. However, since this was a leisurely vacation, it was very frustrating that the internet wouldn't work. We watched buffering regardless of what we channel we picked.

Great property

Cool place, massage chair was great for sore working muscles! Garage was a little small (we had large trucks) but would be perfect for cars. Host communicated very well and arrival video was perfect instructions.

Great place

This is a very well-stocked and comfortable place to stay, and the owner does a fantastic job of communicating and answering questions. My only critique is that it would be nice to have more than one key and fob so that we could leave the building in separate groups without worrying about how to get back in. Also, a remote for the garage door opener would be highly convenient but isn't strictly necessary.

Enjoyed the property. Felt safe at all times. The garage allowed us to leave items in the van without worry. Location afforded us endless venues for entertainment and dining.

Great place!

We absolutely loved this apartment. It is big enough, very well maintained, has a nice touch- a massage chair to relax after a long day. Pool! Kids loved it! Bath tab for a small kid or a shower for adults. I liked that i could park my car in the garage. Location- basically in the middle of nowhere and we loved it because it was so quiet. However, it only took two minutes to get to a nearest store. If I need to go to Iowa again, i will rent it for sure!

Great place, clean and comfy

Very nice apartment rental, close to everything we needed. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably, both kids and adults loved the massage chair. It had everything we needed, including an inflatable mattress. The pool was a bonus. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway

I would have liked the listing of this property to be more accurate. This was on the 2nd floor with no elevator and I have 2 broken legs so that was challenging. The garage door also was not working.

Great location

The host was great! The check in instructions were very helpful in finding the garage that was for our use while staying at this rental. We had one request and the host took care of this request. The location is close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely use this rental if in Des Moines again.

tardy check-in communication.

Property was welcoming, clean, neat, comfortable, 2nd floor, relaxing. The only thing that wasn't good was the check in process. 4pm was check in and i came in town @ 3:15pm. I had already communicated with the host 3x earlier in the day and once 2 days prior to the arrival time, about not having the check-in information yet. (Replies that i got responses to. . . We will get those to you. . .. we are having dfficulty with Vrbo) we changed plans due to not being able to check in @ 4 and had to do other things first. This was stressful for the 3 hrs driving, not knowing if we would have a place to stay. @ 5:40 i did receive a phone call from the lady host who sent the instructions in a text, while i was on the phone. She was curtious, professional, and handled everything well. I just wish i could have had this info prior to check in. Overall a nice 2 bd 2 bath apartment for a stay in West Des Moines.

Amazing property

We loved our stay. Everything we needed was provided by the host as well as great communication. It was cool to see that the apartment number was 1205 as that was our college apartment. Made for a great stay in West Des Moines.
