Very clean cabin and nicely decorated. Everything you need is there. All on one floor so easy accessible for all. Great back yard with firepits and hot tub. Loved being in the woods with lots of privacy.

The seclusion of the rental is exactly what we were looking for . The games available to play gave us extra things to do. The hot tub after hiking and zipping was wonderful. The deco inside was modern yet so comfy. Blankets and pillows at my every whim. Everything I packed ( in case of) I didn’t need . Our rental had it. Toiletries, seasonings, etc. . The host answered some questions I had . Very great time we had for such a short - we were definitely, put in a different word back there in the woods. Loved it! !

Very private 2 bedroom cabin. Good location to visit Hocking Hills. Kitchen had Keurig and dishes we needed. Nice to have 2 baths. Would have been good to know in advance on well with 40 gallon tank so were told with check in instructions may need to stagger showers. Would recommend bring ice and bottled water if prefer not to use well water. Steep driveway and get to home om gravel road. No fault of homeowner but storm hit and road washed out and flooded so watch if storms forecasted. Friendly, helpful host communication.

You are in the middle of the forest, of course there is a well! 40 gallon water heaters are standard for 1200 foot homes. If you love being in nature, having wifi, chilling in a hot tub while watching a ball game with a solo stove and screened in patio—this is your place! 4 stars because we live on a hill and have well water, yikes! This is a place for being isolated in nature off the beaten path. It is an awesome and relaxing getaway!!

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay here! Very clean and we enjoyed the wood fire fireplace and the modern yet cozy decor and furniture. We had beautiful snowy views in the winter and would love to come back in a different season to explore then, too.

This was such an easy stay for our family. Corn hole, hot tub, and fire pit were the highlights for the family. The few issues we had were immediately fixed by the hosts. Highly recommend a fall stay- the property was gorgeous with the changing colors, and the patio was the perfect spot to hang out in between outings.

Great place to get out of the city and enjoy hiking and nature.

Brought my younger brother and his wife to the area, they were visiting from Colorado. Both enjoyed the area, the different hiking trails and the experience.

Beautiful Cabin

We loved our stay, not only was the cabin great - but it’s perfectly located for hiking the trails! The hosts left a sweet note, and we are so very thankful for all our memories and time in the cabin! Thank you for a great stay, I’m sure we will be back soon.

Everything we wanted!

We stayed at this property for a reunion of college friends. It is well furnished with comfortable beds and everything we needed in the kitchen. Very clean. The hot tub was great for an afternoon soak and we loved the fire pit area. Wonderful stay.

A fantastic place that felt private and safe and had everything we needed for my wife and I and our four kids to enjoy very comfortable evenings after hiking and exploring. The kitchen was great for preparing all our meals, and the large dining room table was essential for our family of six. For being back in the woods, everything was very nicely clean and taken care of. The hot tub was nice and clean, the place smelled clean walking in, bathrooms and bedrooms all felt clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and our kids had fun playing in the three seasons room too. The host was very promptly responsive via the VRBO chat when we had questions, and communicated everything we needed to know otherwise. It was all we wanted out of a quiet home base while exploring Hocking Hills.

Easy check-in. Owners were just leaving after checking everything was ready for us. House was very comfortable and well stocked and the hot tub was amazing.Great hiking at Hocking Hills but be aware GPS was absent or sparse … take a map with you. Wifi was ok at the house - sometimes have to move around for the signal.

Please know that the photos of the site had to be years old. The outside patio was very dirty and had not been maintained for years, so disappointing , We love sitting by campfire in the evening, the chairs and facility was so dirty had to stay inside!!! the nice fire pit worked but too dirty, had to just stand with our drinks around the fire! Hot tub did work, but getting to it so dirty to walk. Had my young grandchildren along but couldn,t use large connect four broken, cornhole broken,fuse ball worked, but again so dirty , this property is in a perfect location for hickers the store is close. The owner must be letting it fall down,then sell the land. I was embarssedso didnt take any pictures , so my other family wouldn't see where we were staying.

Four five star reviews since you stayed. You never mentioned any issues when you stayed. Been in this business for 6 years and have never had a review like this. Being in nature may not be your thing Cheryl. Photos were taken last summer.

This property is so fun. We didn't use the hot tub because it looked a little cloudy and had some leaves in it but we loved the fire pit and the foosball table. Everything was nice and in working order. It's close to Ash cave and Hocking hills. You're about 30 minutes from Millstone. If you're here in the winter the driveway is a little steep

Amazing Property!

We had an amazing time at Oak Forest. It’s a perfect location about 10-15 mins to Old Man’s Cave and 10 mins to Conkles Hollow. The property itself was very secluded and quiet in the woods. Large flat yard on a ridge with great fire pit area and deck. The house itself was very clean and comfortable and up to date in all aspects. Communication with the hosts was immediate. We had an absolutely amazing time recommend this property to anyone. We hope to be back soon!

Cabin was nice, smelled musty. No kitchen wash cloth, only 1 drying towel. Used a washcloth from the bathroom. All in all, it was a good experience. We had minor issue with the TV, but we contacted the owner and he was quick and responsive and solved the issue quickly.

Nice Cabin with Great Outdoor Spaces, Few Issues

Cabin was nice and the large paved driveway, screened-in porch, and fire pit area were perfect for our young kids. Owners were extremely responsive and let us check-in early to allow our toddler to get her nap in. Unfortunately, the internet did not work the entire time we were there and we had basically no cell service, which was a huge pain for our family to plan hikes and entertain young kids in the evenings. The hot tub water was also dirty when we arrived so were not able to use it.

Our apologies! A storm took down a tree on our cable wire. Frontier made us wait 10 days to get it fixed. Out of our circle of control! We were proactive and ordered Starlink so now we have internet again and it is faster than before. The cleaners did clean the hot tub before you arrived. They sent us a picture of the water so not sure what happened there. We try our best out here and mother nature sometimes chooses to do what she wants to. This place is amazing and if you want to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place to be!

It was fairly clean and we loves the screened in porch. It said it sleeps 6 people. They didn't have sheets for the single beds. They need newer pots and pans. Overall we had a great time.
