Welcome to The Big Catch Cabin, your private oasis nestled on nearly 17 acres of private, wooded land, less than an hour outside of Charlotte.

Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature as you wake up to the breathtaking sunrise over our stocked fishing pond, where Bass and Bluegill await your line. Explore the beauty of the surrounding landscape with hiking and mountain bike trails weaving through thick woods and rolling hills.

For some friendly competition, enjoy a round of disk golf or test your aim at the horseshoe pit. As the day winds down, gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows.

This charming cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests, offering a master bedroom and a spacious loft area. The cabin has 1 bathroom with a shower and a toilet as well as a well stocked kitchen. It also has a convenient washer and dryer, so that your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable. Feel free to set up a couple of tents outside for a true camping experience under the open sky.
If you would like to bring a dog they are welcome to join you. No more than 2 dogs. They must be housebroken and there is a $75 fee to bring them. Please select the "I am traveling with pets" box when inputing the number of travelers.

Our stay was wonderful. The location was near the venue where my daughter was getting married. The cabin was accommodating, supplied everything that we needed and more. Everything was extra clean loved the attention to every detail! The view and accommodating everything was perfect!

House was absolutely fantastic! While we did not have alot of time to use all the property had to offer as we were in town to visit family, all of the small touches from the welcome waters and wine, to the hand written card made this a perfect stay. Rooms are comfortable and all of the instructions and descriptions were right on. One thing of note, the air conditioning units were fairly noisy. It wasn't too much of an issue for us as the weather was beautiful and we were fine just keeping them off, but they may want to just be looked at. An easy fix that in no way changes my opinion of the stay.

Perfect for a family stay

It was so clean when we got there! The driveway is hard to see from the street but the hosts gave us excellent directions. My dogs loved the hiking trail and loop around the pond. Such a lovely little house and beautiful property.

Awesome spot!

If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing spot, this is it! We thoroughly enjoyed out stay! House was spotless when we arrived. We did not come to do anything more than relax at the property, let our dogs run and fish and we did exactly that! I cannot comment on things to do in the area as we just stayed on the property it was that peaceful! Look forward to coming back again in the fall to check out more in the area!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a great trip to the Big Catch Cabin! It is just as described, with a beautiful piece of property. We loved sitting on the screened-in porch, and the fishing was fantastic! Exploring the trails was also enjoyable. A cozy little getaway that was much needed. Thanks for hosting us!

This little cabin is just amazing! I hesitate to write a review because selfishly I’d love to keep it a secret. The trails and pond were awesome. My husband caught lots of fish! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

The most perfect get away spot! We were able to bring our 2 dogs which was amazing. Perfect little cabin for a couple or small family! Property is breathtaking. Sun rises right behind the pond! Andrew and Lisa were great with checkin information and coordination! Will definitely be back!

Relaxing and beautiful

We had such a great time at this cozy little cabin! It rained most of the time we were there, but we were able to enjoy the screened in porch and listen to the rain. Host was extremely flexible and helpful!

Great little cabin in the woods!

Cute cabin! Very clean! Lots of great yard space! Fun hiking/biking trails on property! Fishing! Even though it was very hot outside, we enjoyed ourselves. The woods were at least 10-15 degrees cooler and fun to hike in. The air conditioning inside worked great, we played cards and games indoors when we couldn’t stand the heat😂 The fans on the screen porch helped cool that area off! Great location, close to some cute small towns, spent a day in Cheraw - historical town and a State Park with a lake! It was a very enjoyable stay! I would definitely stay there again. There’s even room to bring the grandkids.

Great Property to relax!

The property is very nicely kept with alot of amenities to enjoy during your stay. We especially enjoyed the privacy this property offers. The fishing pond, the wildlife, and the screened in porch with fans all made for a pleasant stay for my wife and I with our two dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to unwind!

We really enjoyed our excellent stay at the cabin! It was a lovely place to unwind for the weekend. We really enjoyed the trails, loved that they had rocks you could paint to add to the trail, and loved to walk down to the pond. We brought my friend's dogs, and they had a blast! The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the AC works great. Lisa and Andrew are great hosts and are very communicative. We didn't need anything during our stay but I'm sure if we had they'd have made it happen. They had a great book of info too. Overall we're already planning our next trip and look forward to returning!

Great Getaway Spot

This was a great getaway spot. I came to spend a few days visiting my sister and her kids. It was close to her farm and had plenty of space outside for my kids to run around outside and my father to spend time fishing with all his grandchildren. We had a great time and the canine had every we needed for a short stay.
