peaceful location

Comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with wonderful sea views and terrace in idyllic quiet location with great access (on foot) to a number of unspoilt beaches and nearby pretty village. Our hosts were most accomodating providing a very generous welcome pack of delicious local produce and letting us stay on into the afternoon of our last day.

Fantastic place to stay with wonderful hosts and great location

We loved it at Nerissa we stayed for two weeks with our teenage children and I can honestly say that Dimitris and Eleni were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make our stay excellent from preparing us a hot meal when we arrived with a bottle of Dimitris organic homemade wine which was lovely to being just so friendly and approachable throughout our holiday. Eleni changed the sheets and towels regularly and brought us some fantastic treats of cake and chocolate truffles.The fantasic welcome pack of fruit bread honey and plenty of other fresh food and water was just what you needed to stop you having to go shopping straight away. The apartment is clean and well equipped with all you need and the air conditioning in the bedrooms is just what you need at the end of a hot day for a comfortable nights sleep. There are two local beaches one is a five minute walk away and very quiet with only a handful of families there at most and fantastic for snorkeling . There are plenty of great places to eat within easy walking distance and one fish restaurant is literally a stones throw away. A walk into Spartia will reward you with a great bar in the square which does a fabulous sandwich and an English breakfast, also a fantastic family run Taverna which does the best veal stifado I have ever tasted. Kefalonia has lots to see and do from Melissani and Drogarati Caves, boat trips to Ithaca , Argostoli harbour to watch for loggerhead turtles, walking up Mount Enos, and Kastro Agiou Georgiou castle ruins, and so much more. I would absolutely recommend Nerissa to everyone and we will be returning. Thank you Dimitris and Eleni you were perfect.

Fantastic flat with great sea view

We stayed a week at Nerissa apartmenta and it was perfect. We arrived and the owner, Dimitris was very friendly and informative. On top of that they left fresh fruit and vegetables, olive oil, wine and also Dimitris wife left a cooked meal in the oven for us! Truly amazing, we couldn't believe thia incredible hospitality! Flat was great for us, very clean with all the comforts (they also came to clean after a few days and change bedsheet and towels...again amazing...better than a hotel!) and to top it all off we had the most beautiful sea view from the big veranda where we were eating every day. I cannot recommend this place more, thank you Dimitris!

Look nowhere else

This is a lovely spot near the village of Spartia in Kefalonia . The property is in a quiet spot between the village and beach with lovely sea views from your private balcony . It is a well equipped property with everything you need for your holiday right down to the beach umbrella . Very clean , well maintained , very comfortable beds . The village has a couple of shops & a nice bar in the square . Great taverna just across the road if you want a break from the kitchen . The hospitality of the hosts is 5* . Local produce , olive oil and Dimistris own wine was on the table when we arrived . We were late arriving from the UK and they had left a hot meal for us in the oven . We wouldn’t look anywhere else for our return trip to Spartia .

Lovely setting and extremely kind hosts

Dimitri and Eleni greeted us with a generous welcome pack including a cooked meal, fruit, wine, oil and a delicious homemade cake. The accommodation was beautifully sited with beaches near by and well situated for visiting other parts of the island. The taverna down the road is good, has friendly helpful staff and especially attractive to cat-lovers. One day we caught the early morning ferry from Sami to Ithaca which is lovely and well worth the effort. St George's Castle is worth a visit with fine views of the coast.

Très bonne

Notre séjour chez Dimitris Liossatos a été très agréable. La maison est confortable avec une jolie vue sur la mer et un jardin très fleuri. La proximité d'une plage de sable est très appréciable. Le bon accueil des propriétaires mérite d'être souligné. L'île de Céphalonie est magnifique et réclame un séjour de plusieurs jours (pour moi ce fut un séjour de 2 semaines).

Confortable house in a wonderful place

We have spent a few days in Nerissa apartments. They consist in very confortable small house, close to the sea. The houses are located near to two different very nice (and calm) beaches, reachable by feet in a few minutes. The house is fully equipped (including air conditioning, mosquito protection on the windows, sheets, washing machine...) and corresponds to the description on the site. We have been welcomed very warmfully by the owner of the house, who provided us with information on the surroundings. There are many things to see in Kefalonia. We greatly recommend those Nerissa apartments !

The perfect place to stay!

We can not rate Nerissa Apartments and more importantly our hosts, Dim and Eleni, highly enough. I could write an essay but will try to keep it short! Our stay in Kefalonia was perfect and that is largely to do with the fact we stayed at Dim and Eleni's apartments. From start to finish we were made to feel so welcome and at home, it was like staying with much loved family or friends. Dim and Eleni were so attentive to our needs but without being intrusive, from picking us up at the airport, to the generous and delicious welcome package we received on arrival. All the goods, including fresh tomatoes (the best we have ever tasted), veg, fruit, cheese, yogurt, milk, homemade bread and cake, plus organic olive oil, wine and more, are all grown or made by Dim and his wife. They also made us an amazing lunch of stuffed tomatoes and peppers on our day of arrival, so we had no need of going to the shops for several days. Dim also sorted a hire car for us, with a local company (who I would also highly recommend). The apartment had everything we needed for self catering,a gorgeous seaview balcony with BBQ, was immaculately clean and just perfect for our stay. The location of the apartments (which feels very private), surroundings and view were all stunning. Spartia is a small traditional Greek village, with a couple of small mini markets and two Tavernas, plus two more Tavernas down towards the beach. The area is stunningly beautiful and peaceful with views up to the breathtaking Mount Ainos. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, which is exactly what we did for two weeks. I have been to many countries, as has my boyfriend and neither of us have been made to feel so welcome or at home anywhere else in the world. Kefalonia is truly magical, unspoilt, friendly, everything you could want from a holiday and Greek Island, I totally fell in love with it and much of that is down to the hospitality and friendship shown by Dim and Eleni. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nerissa Apartments to any of my family or friends and we will definitely be going back again. It is now, without a doubt, my favourite holiday destination/place in the world. If you decide to visit this magical island, make sure you stay with Dim and Eleni, you will have the holiday of a life time, they are the loveliest people you could wish to meet (his wine's rather good too ;) ) xx
