Looking over the harbor was amazing! Watching the boats leave in the am and come in at night was something we had never experienced before ! We even saw a whale, so cool! The location was perfect for exploring Eastport and the surrounding area. Barb and Tom had everything we needed to buy local food and cook it in our apartment.

Wonderful Eastport Experience!

"Wonderful Water Views From This Beautiful Apartment Centrally Located Downtown!" The description of this apartment on Vrbo is right on! When we walked into the apartment, the lovely space was filled with sunshine. The apartment is arranged with a comfortable, thoughtful decor. The attention to detail is apparent throughout: the kitchen, seating areas, bedrooms, and bathroom. And the location is ideal. Our Eastport stay was a truly wonderful experience!

Great stay in Eastport

Eastport itself is small but there are lots of things to do around there, you can go see Campobello Island or St Andrews in Canada is 1hr away. Be sure to get a Lobster roll at Polar Treat and eat breakfast at the Waco.

Eastport vacation

The view from the apartment is beautiful with boats and wildlife in abundance. You can easily walk anywhere in the very friendly town. It is a great place to stay!

The best of Eastport

The Harborside apartment has the best of everything: incredible Oceanside views from the deck, just steps to everything that Eastport has to offer, and a clean, comfortable space to enjoy it all. We also appreciated the snacks, water and other goodies that the hosts so kindly offered. We were lucky that it was available.

Eastport Water Street

This was our 2nd time. You cannot beat the views. The wife found some dog hair/food on the floor. Other than that, very clean. We are both 77 so the 19 steps to the apartment & the small low toilet is getting to be a bit much. Everything else is fine.

Great place to stay!

The apartment has incredible views, beautiful light, is centrally located and as nice as described. Very comfortable, owners are good communicators. I highly recommend it.

Water St Eastport

Although we did enjoy our stay at the apartment, the deck was covered with a slick layer of algae and some of the boards seemed unsafe to stand on so we were not comfortable using it which was a disappointment since that seemed like one of the great amenities. There was also some miscommunication with another group who had been told they could use part of the parking lot. I had worked it out with the first gentleman when a woman who thought they should have access to more of the parking spaces started yelling at me that I needed to move my car RIGHT NOW!!! which was very upsetting. Also, time to change out the lock on the trash box as it is very rusty and left our hands covered in rust when we took the trash out before we left but all in all it was a good stay

Wonderful Location

Waking up to beautiful sunrises over the bay and harbor was wonderful. The location was great -close to shops, restaurants and the brewery! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We will be back!

Perfect amount of space for 2 people. Pictures on the website truly representative of the space. Well equipped kitchen and fantastic views! Owners promptly respond to any requests, questions or issues. We had a lovely month long stay.

Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Harborside apartment and appreciated the welcome gifts and the attention to detail of thoughtful things that were provided. The location was quiet and yet we were able to enjoy the local activities on the dock and in town. Our only suggestion is that renters should know that the closest laundromat is 28 miles away., and that is what is meant by a coin operated washing machine in the listing. We would recommend this VRBO property.

Eastport on the Water

We loved the apartment and the harbor, water and view of Canada. If we hadn't forgotten some supplies from home, the stairs might have been a problem. But for us old folks they were not. Eastport is a quiet place and that's what we were looking for. The Whale Watch was special. We are so glad that we took it. We would love to return.

I am a retired guidance counselor. I worked in public schools for over 25 years, and also worked 5 years overseas in international schools in Bangladesh and China. My husband, Tom Millay, and I live in Eastport and find being near the water refreshing to our spirits.

We purchased this property in 1998 because it was the one property in Eastport we were really interested in, beyond our house, which is beautiful too. In the time we have owned it, we have poured our hearts and souls into improving the building both inside and out. Since we were in education this meant we could only afford to do a little at a time, so it took us many years to reach the point where we had something that we were proud of, and willing to rent to visitors on vacation.

This property sits right on the harbor of Eastport. From almost any window, or on the deck, one can sit and watch the ships, lobster boats, fishing boats coming in or going out. One may even see whales, seals, porpoises from here. Spectacular views of Canadian Islands like Campobello, Deer Island, and others enrich the view. Experience the 30-foot tides of Passamaquoddy Bay that change your view multiple times each day. The property is located right in downtown Eastport, with off-street parking, so one can park one's car, and walk to restaurants, bars, shops, stores.
