Super cute and cozy cabin. Secluded and quiet. In a beautiful location. 15 minutes away from Shenandoah National Park central entrances. Be prepared for no WiFi. But we had some T-Mobile reception. Cabin is an open concept. The toilet is the only enclosed room in the cabin. Be prepared for spending time together 3

This cabin was the perfect getaway. Located in the woods, easily hundreds of yards from the next property, we felt completely secluded. Fantastic scenery from both the front deck and the back firepit area. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, and the hot tub was the perfect cap to long days of hiking!

Unlike most rentals this place is exactly as advertised and it's amazing. Quaint, close to the park, quiet and everything you need to relax.

The headboard ledge had a thick layer of dust, there was dust between the rungs on the backs of the kitchen chairs, the front light is so dim you can barely see and the fan paddles are covered in dust and the light fixture is filled with bugs, the porch ceiling has cobwebs everywhere. The firepit area had 2 plastic folding chairs that you find in a church basement so not at all suited for outside, 1 broken chair at the firepit. Outdoor lighting needs to be much brighter so evening arrivals can see!

Heaven on Earth

Rustic,charming out of town(Elkton Va) elevated on a sweet mountain side.Quite looking down on road.sweet clearing across the road to watch deer frolicking back and forth. Will definitely return!

Beautiful stay

Billy communicated very well and the cabin was beautiful. Very peaceful, quaint and pleasant. it was a little hard to find with GPS but if you drive a little past where it says you’ve arrived you’ll find the entrance way. The hosts also left a cool binder full of info about food, activities and how to care for the home. I will return should I visit the area again!

Birthday weekend.

The listing is mostly accurate but the 'bathroom' situation isn't really. There's a tiny closet in the middle of the cabin with the toilet, everything else is out in the open, like the vanity & shower in the middle of the bedroom area. It's not an issue just wasn't expected. Kitchen is very bare of dishes but had plenty pots & pans, BBQ is a small square charcoal one & there's no WiFi. The hot tub is older but worked perfectly fine & was clean. The front screened porch is nice but could use a good power washing or at least the cobwebs brushed off. But overall, we were there for the scenery & hiking and that was abundant. Couldn't ask for a more private, woodsy setting and close to so many hiking trails & Luray Caverns. Mrs. or Mr. J's bagel place was the best breakfast, my husband really loved his omelet from Rudy's Diner but we both loved dinner at Koyoto Japanese, delicious. We only had 2 days so didn't get to see a much as we'd liked but was still a great gateway. The host was also very sweet to have come check the place & leave a welcome card before we arrived & didn't bother us at all. There are 2 cameras in the front of the house but not sure if they worked.

Nice cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin as it allowed us not only explore wonderful trails but also stargazing just from the cabin’s back and front. We also saw deers behind the cabin and right in the driveway. Overall we had a nice and relaxing experience.

Wonderful Romantic Getaway

Fantastic hideaway in a perfect location.

This place is so close to Shenandoah that if it were any closer you’d be sleeping on Skyline Drive. The place was perfect for my wife and me who had a few quiet days away from the kids. The manager was quick to respond and helpful with local suggestions. The town has some good restaurants, a quality brewery with live entertainment, food trucks, and a ton of great people. Coming back to the property to relax in front of a fire or better yet, in the hot tub was always a welcome bookend to what was an active few days. Do not pass this place up. You won’t regret it.

Nice cabin in the mountains

Im not sure what else to add.The place was nice and in a great location for Shenandoah.I will say I was a little surprised at how much cleanup was expected given the additional cleaning fee.

Unique and beautiful getaway

This cabin is wonderful and Bill did a wonderful job of making us feel at home! The sound of the stream, the crazy amount of stars, the hot tub, and the stunning views make this the perfect weekend getaway. The only critique we have is the bathroom sink gets this crazy strong smell after using it or the shower, we had to clear out for about 20 minutes after showers, but I think this would be a really easy fix! We highly recommend the nearby hikes, especially Doyles River Falls, and getting pizza at Goodfella’s. This is an incredibly unique place!
