Steveston Village is a charming coastal town situated at the entrance of the Fraser River. In 2020, Steveston was ranked as the top neighborhood in Metro Vancouver among 192 areas. Since 1960, it has been classified as a heritage zone, which contributes to its inviting and nostalgic atmosphere. Despite this, it remains a functional fishing village, offering an ideal haven for seafood enthusiasts. Visitors can purchase fresh catches directly from the dock at Steveston Spot Prawns & Seafood or explore local fish markets. During peak season, May to July, indulge in delectable spot prawns from a local favourite, Prawns on the Spot.
