Welcome to Riverbend Aframe, a stunning chalet perched on a bluff overlooking the serene Kalamazoo River in picturesque Fennville, Michigan. This modern retreat, built in 2023, tastefully combines contemporary design with vintage charm to create an inviting atmosphere perfect for your getaway.
Located off a private road on over an acre of wooded property, our Aframe is an escape from your everyday. Enjoy a wide array of amenities available to you, including an outdoor barrel sauna with a view, a bubbling hot tub on the bluff's edge, or a warming firepit in the round. Access to the Kalamazoo River, kayaking, nature and bike trails, and a public boat ramp, are within minutes of the property.
Stepping inside our cozy retreat you’ll find an oversized family room and parlor, a game loft for all ages and a generously equipped, modern kitchen. The master bath features a wetroom with a rainfall showerhead, a separate handheld shower, and a soaking tub for good measure! For guests needing to stay connected, our private office space with a view ensures a peaceful balance of work and play (hopefully more play than work).
For a change of pace, hit one (or all!) of the surrounding wineries, orchards, or farm-to-table eateries. When it's time for some lakeside fun, venture on a quick 10-15 minute drive to Saugatuck, a vibrant lakeside destination nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan. Whether rekindling old friendships at a cottage, trading the city for the beach, or simply reconnecting with nature, the Midwest Coast has offered us a place of retreat and restoration. Now, we are excited to bring a beautifully designed A-frame to life for our own family, friends and guests to enjoy in Fennville, MI!
We've poured our hearts into the design of our Aframe, which blends modern aesthetics with vintage charm. We've paid close attention to every detail, from the pine vaulted ceiling to the large windows that offer breathtaking views of the diverse ecosystem and Kalamazoo River. Although the Aframe reflects our love for design and architecture, it's also a reflection of our personalities and values. We're committed to creating a warm and welcoming space, a retreat for the renewal of mind, body, and soul!

To start your stay off right, we provide you with a fresh 12oz bag of Aframe branded coffee. Bolstering your moment of coffee bliss is time spent in the patio hot tub or the outdoor cedar barrel sauna! On your way to enjoy either amenity, don't forget the shower robes provided during your stay. For the nature lovers among you, nature trails and seasonal kayak rentals are within walking distance of the property! Don't worry if you forgot your water transport, we got you covered! A two person kayak is available on the premises. After a day on the water, exchange conversation and laughs around the outdoor firepit. Or move your party inside to enjoy a game of foosball or the classic sound of the record player in the parlor. Tomorrow is all yours! Sip some more of that exclusive coffee while you peruse our little library of books. Head out for the day to one of the many surrounding wineries/cideries or relax at one of the nearby Lake Michigan beaches. These experiences and more await you and your party at Riverbend Aframe!
