Relax with the whole family at this water’s edge retreat. Great views and wildlife make this house a must stay for a getaway on the lake. With a private dock and availability for boat parking, you can enjoy the water and everything it has to offer. The deck on the house facing the water offers spectacular views and a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed in everything that Water’s Edge has to offer. This property is located only 25 minutes from Blacksburg so it is great for graduation or home football games. Also only 10 minutes from Radford so an ideal spot to stay for RU graduations.

Very nice home on Lake Crater

Our stay was wonderful. Very nice neighborhood and updated home. Everything was great. Chipmunks are so fun to watch.

Excellent house on quiet cove

The house was amazing. Great breeze on the porch. Everything worked as it should. Will be sure to come back soon. Thanks for an amazing time relaxing at the lake.

Nice place

Both The House and renters We’re great. Dealing with the Vrbo websites and almost everything about the booking process was complete garbage. I would definitely recommend the house but do not recommend Vrbo platform.

This home is absolutely perfect! Tim and Melissa’s attention to detail and taste is impeccable. It is spotless, extremely comfortable, decorated beautifully and has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful stay just steps from their fire pit and dock on a gorgeous and secluded park of Clater Lake. Absolutely the nicest rental we have ever had in the 4 years our son has attended VT.! Tim & Melissa are excellent commentators! Thank you for the lovely welcome bottle of wine. Just a perfect weekend.

Best rental on the lake

Over the years we have stayed at many rental homes on Claytor Lake, this one was by far our favorite! The location is great because it’s right near the public boat ramps but it’s tucked back in a little cove so the traffic wasn’t an issue at all. Parking was flat and paved. (this is not the case with most rentals on the lake) The home was nicely appointed with quality bedding and towels. Everything was basically new and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed during our week long stay. The showers were basically brand new and so nice. Good water pressure and temperature. The exterior was just as nice with a lot of amenities including a grill, refrigerator and plenty of seating options. The landscaping was beautiful and the fire pit was so nice! If this house was for sale, I’d buy it! Such a great time. We can’t wait to revisit and will check to see if this house has availability. 10/10 experience.
