Location, location, location. 1 1/2 blocks from the sand on one side, and the bay on the other side. Prime location to do whatever you might feel like doing. Everything is walking distance. And at your finger tips. Our cottage sleeps 6, and is upgraded with granite and travertine throughout. One car garage with washer & dryer. Private front and back patios. Pets not a problem,Flat screen tv,s in every room. Enjoy sunsets, walks on the beach and some of the best restaurants in California. About 850 square feet.
Vacation trades are possible. We also provide beach cruisers at the property and anything else that you might need to make your stay most enjoyable.

We stayed for 3 nights, and we were very happy to find this cottage that is dog friendly with such an excellent location. We were walking distance to great restaurants and shops as well as a grocery store. The cottage has a really lovely front patio as well as towards the back of the cottage. Parking in the garage was also a huge plus. Communication was excellent from start to finish with an extremely quick response time.

Excellent location. 2 blocks from beach and market. Nice beach walk to shopping, bars, restaurants. Site has nice beach equipment - umbrella, chairs, toys, swim boards, wagon to haul everything. Use Radical Storage app to find place to drop luggage until check in. It was a pub 2 blocks away for low cost. Can drop before noon and open late. Kitchen equipment was good, coffee, condiments, some extras available depending on prior visits. Greeted us with a nice bottle of wine in the fridge. Rated four stars would give 4.5 with some small refreshes inside (let manger know my thoughts). The last half point would depend on neighbors. It is a dense population, Yes people party a bit, in our case the party was a bit excessive on one night. Two good nights, one not so much. This is a variable u can’t control so the rating can reflect that. Would I come again? Yes, but would probably target none weekend.

Absolutely loved the place and will return. Better than the photos show. Outstanding host with excellent communication. For the money, a great value. From the front patio you can look down the street and see the ocean, and it is a super easy walk to not only the beach, but an excellent grocery store, a Chipotle, Mama D’s (best Italian fiid I have ever had), and much much more. Garage space is a little tight for my Honda Ridgeline truck, but was fine. Wifi works great (worked remotely some of the time). Has a single wall unit air conditioner which we only needed for about an hour on an unusually warm day, but nights with windows cracked left the bedrooms a perfect and nice cool temp. Has a nice tiled shower that is very powerful. Kitchen fully stocked, has a full sized normal AND Kureig coffee makers (plenty of filters also provided). Plenty of towels, great TV channels and could stream from your own major services. Has a nice little grassy dog run so it is easy to have your pet, plus has both front and rear fenced patios. I have stayed at dozens and dozens of VRBOs and this is in my top few favorites for sure. Sure, it is an older beach house, so do not expect it to be the Four Seasons, but for the money you cannot beat this for a clean and comfortable place that is steps to the beach and in one of THE nicest areas in the country. Oh yes, the area is super safe, no beach bums (to be direct), just lots of nice and affluent folks live and stay in the area. A!

Great place for hanging out at the beach and having a dog!

This cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. Had a wonderful closed in front and backyard that was perfect for our dog. Walked to the beach everyday. Close to grocery stores and restaurants and had a small garage to park in!

An excellent place for a self-catered beach stay

This is a fabulous property with everything we needed for a lovely 5 day Newport beach holiday with 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 9 and 6). 2 double bedrooms, good sized shower room, lounge and kitchen, as well as lovely front outdoor seating area and garage behind to park our hire car. Everything from towels to bikes and boogie boards were provided. Beautiful beach 2 blocks away, good supermarket and restaurants 1 block away. We would definitely come back here again.

Home Away from Home

Delightful cottage close to everything! Easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. You don't have to drive anywhere! Comes equipped with everything you might possibly need. The owners make sure it is super clean and well equipped upon your arrival. If it is not there, Gloria and Linda will make it happen. Off the main boardwalk, which is nice so you have the option of your own space, when you want it. The neighbors are very nice and welcoming. We would visit the beach area every day and loved the long boardwalk for walking, running, biking, and sightseeing. Would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone wanting a relaxing, enjoyable stay, in the Newport area.

Ideal place for Newport Beach stay

Wow, what a great place to stay! Super convenient location, walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, and most importantly the beach! Less than 5 min and you are on the sand. The house itself is very nicely appointed - with 3 of us it was plenty roomy. Beds were very comfortable and excellent breezy airflow made things just right even during a heat wave. Very functional kitchen, we made several meals and my wife even baked cookies. Also, a lot of nice extras here, such as the front patio with grill, bicycles, beach chairs and a well-appointed bathroom with ample towels. If you are coming to this area of Newport Beach, be aware that parking can be tough, especially on the weekends. Thankfully, a one-car garage is provided, that makes life much more bearable. But hey, down here why are you driving? Just walk a few blocks and sit out on the sand! Gloria, the owner and the host manager Linda were extremely gracious and helpful. Our 3 year old had a blast, too.. I would highly recommend this to any party of say 4, (maybe 5) or fewer. My Newport Beach recommendations - 1) The Beach!! - 2) Rent a bike or skate the boardwalk path - 3) Alta Coffee house, a quick walk and 4) Bear Flag Fish company, also a quick walk away. Oh yeah and one more - Sancho's tacos for a great breakfast burrito..

Amazing Experience!

This home is even better in person, it has amazing curb appeal, but when you walk in you feel like you have just come home! The owner was so gracious and wonderful during our entire stay. I cannot tell you how perfect this location is... close to the beach, you can walk everywhere.. grocery, restaurants, nail salons, the pier... I will definitely rent this place again! Such a wonderful experience for my entire family. Thank you!! You absolutely wont be disappointed if you rent this home. I have rented a lot of homes, and the location of this one is absolutely perfect, the interior is so comfortable and beautiful!
