We offer a comfortable, open family home. Our place is suitable for a ‘work stay’ and is located close to Mckean County Courthouse and county offices, Smethport Area School and 2 local nursing homes.
The space
Our house is located on an acre lot, very quiet. We have spacious bedrooms with a lot of closet space.
Guest access
There is one area off the master bedroom where we store cleaning supplies.

This was our second time staying here. My family and friends had an enjoyable stay. This home served as good lodging after our days in the outdoors. The kitchen was well-appointed to make meals. We came to the area to go hiking and this place was perfect. Super clean, everything you need is right there for you. Great communication from the owners. Highly recommend!

Warm & welcoming retreat.

Elaine was an attentive & gracious host offering to have snow removed while we were stsying at the house. The house was just what we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfy

This was a central spot for our trip to Allegheny National Forest and the Grand Canyon of PA. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the little town of Smethport. The people were very friendly! I would definitely stay here again!

The property was just as described and clean as could be. We will stay here again next time we are in area. Elaine was very easy to work with . We already told other people with family coming to area about the property. Thanks Elaine for making our visit awesome.

Everything was great. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Only comment of recommendation: add more pictures of the interior (it really is a great property) & take off the note that there is a hot tub. The only thing close is a garden tub in the master bath.

Elaine is a fantastic host and always goes out of her way to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We've stayed here several times, and the experience has consistently been excellent.The property is always clean, well-maintained, and located in a quiet, low-stress neighborhood that's perfect for relaxing. While there are a few upgrades that could be made over time, everything works well and we've never had any issues during our stays.One of the absolute highlights of this property is the view from the front porch. Whether you're sitting outside in the early morning or enjoying the evening, the scenery is surprisingly beautiful. Watching the sun hit the mountains, seeing deer wander through the area, and looking out at the farm across the street creates a peaceful and picturesque setting that's hard to describe until you experience it yourself.We keep coming back because it's comfortable, welcoming, and consistently delivers a great stay. Highly recommended.
