Very nice and clean property, didn't get to use it but hot tub was clean and ready to go. Good communication from host and rentel is close to freeway, restaurants and shopping centers

The property was clean and the pictures of the interior were accurate. We had our whole family together for a weekend and had a great time being together. The yard was disappointing. There are some dead trees and the grass was dead. The hot tub and patio were very nice though. The host was patient and answered my questions.

The house was a vacation in itself. It was very clean, very comfortable, and the perfect size for our family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I really really enjoyed the house. Although the house was perfect, the outside was not quite as it appeared in the pictures. We have 3 active kids and we were really looking forward to letting them play in the backyard while we relaxed and watched through the entire wall of windows, but the backyard was just dirt with several dead trees. So not ideal to let the kids roam unless we wanted to take baths after. The kids also found a black widow on the porch, so we ended up just staying inside for the duration of the trip. But again the inside was wonderful and spacious, so still a great trip! Salt Lake also has great highways, so the location was good, it allowing us to get to all of our different adventures in 30 minutes or less. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this Vrbo. It was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely stay again!

We travelled to Salt Lake City for a senior softball tournament. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood, close to amenities. The back patio was nice to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Clean comfortable stay

First of all, the entire house was immaculately clean and fresh. They’ve done a superb job decorating in the mid-century mod design manner and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a nice bonus and the backyard area was comfortable and private as well.

Great Salt Lake Vacation Home

We had an excellent stay at this very nice, comfortable home. We had an easy time getting to numerous ski resorts from here. Loved the open kitchen and living area. Property manager was easy to communicate with a quick to respond. Would stay here again, incredible value!

Excellent Place to Stay!

I enjoyed my stay here. The home was spotless. The hosts were very helpful and replied within minutes to my questions. The house is in a nice area. The kitchen is big and stocked very nicely. The bathrooms were well stocked as well with a lot of clean towels. The washer/dryer worked well. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. I am excited to stay here again on my next visit.

The Blue House is beautiful. Clean and comfortable. Private back yard and the glass window wall makes for a bright open space. Well done.

Felt right at home…

Check in was very easy. The host is friendly and accessible at all times. The kitchen is nicely remodeled with beautiful gold finishes. The beds were comfortable and cozy. Having a washer and dryer in the home was great! The back wall on the home is all glass window, which makes it feel open to nature. We would love to stay here again!

Incredible house, incredible vacation

Where to start, communication with hosts started early and they were always available. Check in was seamless. House was even more beautiful than the pics. We settled in quickly and hit the hot tub after a long day of travel! The house was conveniently located to the airport, downtown SLC and all the ski resorts. The hosts provided very nice amenities from the shampoo in the bathrooms to the delicious coffee and wide assortment of teas. The house was spotless and comfortable. Beds were great, we hated getting up early to hit the slopes, just wanted to stay in bed lol. Did I mention how great the hosts were? They were fantastic through the entire stay. Beyond expectations. Can't wait until next year to rent this home again!!

Great house. Thermostat situation needs tweaking

Great house. Clean. Quiet. Well supplied bathrooms & laundry. Could use a blender in the kitchen.2 adults/3 teens for a conference. Check-in was easy. We were content with the beds and felt at peace sleeping there. One bedroom needs to shrink bed sizes so closet doors can open. At least, there is a dresser.We must be the first to stay here in the summertime! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the temperature situation. Thermostat was physically LOCKED with no way of adjusting/knowing what the temp setting was. We arrived in early summer with daytime temps in the 80'sF, the house heater was on(!), and we had no access to stop it. The next day, we were gone all day and came home for dinner to a frigid house. When we went to bed, the A/C did not come on again and the house got warm. There were other times the heater came on or the A/C was too cold. The fluctuations were perplexing. I appreciate that the owners said we could text them to adjust the thermostat. However, that's inconvenient as they have lives of their own. There was sometimes a lag in response before the heater or A/C was adjusted. I understand avoiding high utility bills, but I'm sure the heater & A/C ran longer than if we would have had been able to adjust them ourselves. A different kind of thermostat can cap how high or low it can go, letting guests adjust within those perimeters. We'd like to stay at this house again for next year and hope the thermostat situation is improved before then.

Renter beware. This property is not as advertised. The exterior of the home is an absolute disaster. The grass, trees, and plants in the front and backyard are as dead as dead can be. The yard looks like a tragic dust bowls rather than the green oasis depicted in the listing. While the owner blamed the yard's condition on a draught, the neighbor's yard is green & pristine, making the horrible state of this yard even more embarrassing. Not only is the yard dead, the few trees that aren't entirely bare are are shedding needles and pinecones like crazy because they are so dry. The gutters are overflowing with them and the yard and driveway are completely littered with them. There are knee high weeds. There is a ragged, torn American flag hanging tragically from the house and the front light post strobes on and off all night long. The interior of the house is less clean than you'd expect a VRBO to be, with random stains and scuff marks on walls and cupboards throughout the house. The ensuite bathroom isn't attached to the bedroom with the king sized bed as would be expected. And in the rooms with two beds, the beds are so close to the closets that you can't even open the closet doors. The owner of this house is also its manager. They live out of state and responded to my multiple messages expressing my frustrations with what were clearly AI drafted responses and did next to nothing to address my concerns over our 3-week stay. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.

Carly and her family are guests we would not host again, and we would not recommend them to other hosts. First, they brought a dog that was not included in the original reservation. As a host, when a guest is not completely transparent from the beginning about who or what they are bringing to the property, it can be a red flag that there may be complications later. I honestly wish they had canceled the reservation as soon as they arrived if they felt the house was not acceptable for them. However, despite their concerns about the property, they chose to stay and complete the reservation. As we all know, a guest always has the option to contact VRBO if they feel a property is not suitable and request to cancel. During their extended stay, they raised several concerns, and we made every effort to address them promptly. We arranged for our landscaper to visit the property and offered a complimentary cleaning. They declined the complimentary cleaning and chose to remain at the property for the remainder of their stay. Two days before check-out, after they had already been staying at the property for almost three weeks, she brought her concerns to VRBO. VRBO contacted us, and we provided them with our communication with the guest and explained the steps we had taken throughout the stay. Ultimately, VRBO confirmed that we had done everything we could to address the concerns and make the stay as comfortable as possible.
