Cyclists Heaven

Nice mountain view behind, but close to road in front. Driveway allows safe entrance, but be careful backing out as some vehicles speed. No curtains! Since house sits on the road, bicyclists and all can see straight inside. Could use gate/door on both staircases if there are children/pets. Upstairs is a little close. Must bring your own Netflix account to watch Netflix. Kitchen had nice utensils/pots and plenty of paper products. Could use aluminum foil. Floor needs cleaned especially under sofa. We were in beautiful location within 1 to 3 hours of QC and 4 National Parks. Good communication with host, but couldn't find place on vrbo again.

Lovely Charlevoix farmhouse/chalet!

Our family spent a week at Emmanuel's place and had a great time. It is thoughtfully renovated and very comfortable, with many amenities including fireplaces, a claw-foot bathtub, and a kitchen stocked with all the implements you might need. It is close to Le Massif (24 minute drive), Mont Ste Anne (12 minute drive), and the cross-country trails (8 minute drive). The view of the Charlevoix hills and fields from the chalet is very lovely at all times of day. Overall, a great place to stay. Merci!

Alpine ski, snowshoe and cross country

Emmanuel is an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed our return to his lovely farmhouse where despite the cold outside we were warm with 2 fires!

Quaint Home in the Country

Lovely home in the countryside. About a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes at Mont St. Anne (purpose of our visit). Nicely refinished interior and very well equipped. Host was very responsive to requests. A word of caution - if road noise bothers you, especially in the mornings ( 5:30 am onwards) this is not the place for you as it is on a country road that seems to have a fair bit of car and truck traffic on Avenue Royale).

Lovely Cosy House

This was a very well equipped and beautifully maintained house. The view out the back over the fields was especially nice. Also, we enjoyed the horse next door. The host was great to deal with. We highly recommend this property.

The Farmhouse was everything we could have hoped for in a vacation property.

Clean, bright, spacious, and well equiped, we thouroghly enjoyed our stay. Situated close to so many attractions, we couldnt possibly see them all in one week. Emmanuel, the property owner was very responsive to questions and requests, and happy to oblige. We will be back next year to finish what we started, for sure!! Ian.

Belle fin de semaine familiale.

Ce fut un séjour agréable avec toutes les commodités possibles. Malgré la proximité de la rue, même s'il n'y a pas beaucoup de circulation, la cour arrière est très vaste en raison d'un grand champ. Mais avec un jeune enfant, il n'y a pas beaucoup de possibilités d'amusement extérieur. L'hôte est très disponible et avenant. Un endroit merveilleux pour le sport de glisse hivernal, accessible tout près.

Nous avons adoré! Belle maison avec tout ce qu’on avait besoin et même plus. Wonderful property

Terrific house for a ski vacation. Warm and inviting, 2 wood stoves with firewood provided. Great dining table to accommodate 8-10 people. Wonderfully renovated and decorated - a real “Quebec” feel to the house. Relatively short drive to skiing (8 minutes to XC Center, 14 minutes to downhill at Mont Sainte Anne). Very attentive property owner. Overall excellent experience. Highly recommend this property.

Relaxing Getaway

This cottage is just perfect! It is a beautiful place to relax in front of the fire with all the amenities one needs for a great vacation. The trails out back are a huge bonus; we enjoyed hours of winter hiking and cross-country skiing without ever having to get in the car. We highly recommend this home.

Perfect location for ski getaway!

This little house in the country was an amazing spot for our March break ski vacation. The four of us had an amazing 6 nights there, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful property between our trips to Le Massif and Mt. Ste. Anne for skiing. The house is very cozy and we instantly felt at home. Emmanuel was in touch at all times to answer our questions and check in/out was effortless. Hope to be back soon!

we just got back from four days here. Really enjoyed our time. Lovely area and wonderful house. Very well equipped kitchen; bathroom has good shower with plenty of hot water. Woodstove in the lower level keeps the TV room cosy when watching the Olympics.

Unique, country home with everything you need!

This home is absolutely wonderful. It is comfortable, roomy, and in a beautiful location. The wood stove downstairs was great for drying ski clothes too! The snowmobile trails out back were great for hiking and there is an incredible sledding hill also.
