Great rental experience - exactly as pictured!

Fully enjoyed our stay. Home was clean and well kept. Kitchen had everything we needed. Views from all 3 balconies are unbeatable. Furniture (including all beds) was comfortable and clean. Didn't think we would use the elevator much but ended up using it quite a bit. Worked great. Hot tub was also a nice feature. Highly recommend this property!

we really enjoyed our stay at inntuition.. The elevator was.such a blessing for our aging bodies!We booked for next year already.we had some minor problems with the refrigerator and one of the sliding doors . Next year we will bring our beach towels (not included )and extra towels as there is only 1 per person..Just a heads up to future renters.The view is beautiful and its right on the beach,which is not crowed at all ! Dont miss the Top Sail historical museum, its sooo interesting. We look forward to next year!!

Wonderful Stay

This was our first time at Ocean’s Inn-tuition, but it won’t be the last! Extremely clean and recently renovated, the house had everything our group of 8 needed. We appreciated the elevator and easy beach access so much, and the hot tub was such a nice extra. Betsy was a very responsive and informative host, and we appreciated being able to check in a little early upon request.

The property has a wonderful location with beautiful views, and features such as the elevator and hot tub added convenience to our stay. That said, we were disappointed with certain aspects of the experience. The customer service did not meet expectations, and the cleanliness and upkeep of the home fell short of the standard reflected in previous reviews. While the setting was lovely, these issues did impact our overall stay. Unfortunately, we would not feel comfortable recommending this rental or booking with this host again.

Amazing trip

This was our second time staying at Ocean’s Inn-tuition and we have also stayed at multiple other properties hosted by Sol Searching Properties. I have yet to have one complaint about any of them. The houses are always well kept and are very CLEAN!

Perfect location with a great view

This was our second visit to this property, and the third to this location. Views as far as the eye can see in both directions while soaking in the hot tub looking at the moon rise over the ocean. Plenty of rooms for a large family and a fully stocked kitchen for feeding them, and the elevator is a life saver for hauling all of their stuff up to all four floors. The elevator makes the entire house accessible for anyone with mobility issues, and the beach access is also very low and easy compared to many others. Betsy was a great hose and was on top of everything.

The house wasn’t in great condition upon arrival. It was dirty and needed noticeable repairs. Parts of the floor were coming up and there was a large stain on the living room ceiling that seemed to be from a previous leak. The kitchen cabinets and outdoor beach storage closet were a wreck. Very disorganized and frankly, disgusting. It was discouraging to cook in the kitchen. The grill is NOT useable- it’s entirely covered in rust.The “games” in the tv cabinet were all missing parts. There were visible roaches half way through the stay. We notified our “concierge” and they did nothing. The accommodation to stay in a house on the beach was nice, but it is very outdated and dirty. It’s disappointing that we felt very uncared for.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Your stay happened to fall at the very end of a busy and successful peak season. While we don’t advertise outdoor storage items in our listing, we do allow guests to use items left behind by others — and we clear that area out each fall. The grill mentioned is not listed as an amenity because it is no longer usable, but it is concreted into the ground, which makes removal challenging. The flooring wear you noticed is normal for LVP in a coastal environment, and the small ceiling stain was painted over and addressed promptly. As for the waterbugs, they are unfortunately a natural part of our coastal area. We were glad to have pest control respond quickly after you notified us. We always encourage future guests to read through our many other reviews to get a full picture of the experience we provide.

Wish you booked longer!

We had a great time. The views, the ocean are perfect. Im a foodie and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook and make food from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also located down the road from restaurants, sea food, bar food and grocery stores. I loved our stay and you will too! I promise, you will want to book longer so please do it!. If you enjoy laying on the beach its right there. It may take longer to get from the top floor than to the ocean. If you prefer to get sun and get away from sun its there too. So many options from a balcony witha swing to a balcony with chairs and a hot tub. If you need to get away from the beautiful sights of dolphins and sun and sand , close the blinds and make a nap or movie night. The hosts are great and went out of their way to insure we had a perfect and unforgettable time! I dont like to repeat experiences but I might break my rules with this one. 5 stars and a life time of inside jokes and unforgettable memories! Thank you

Best Christmas Ever!

We spent the month of December at Ocean’s Inn-Tuition. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us when our kids came to stay and having the same amazingly comfortable beds in every room was such a luxury! We loved the nice big table for games and puzzles and Betsy provided us with a high chair and pack and play for our granddaughter. I was worried from the photos that the bedrooms might be too small but there was room for our dog’s large crate in one and the pack and play in another, they are bigger than they appear! I can’t properly describe how much I enjoyed watching the pods of dolphins every day, from every floor of the home. Whether washing dishes in the kitchen or having my morning coffee in bed, the views are amazing. We watched a meteor shower from the hot tub one night, definitely a core memory. I was a little worried about noise from the other unit but we really never heard anyone over there unless we were all on the decks or the cleaning crew was there. We are quiet people and enjoyed a peaceful stay as if we were in a stand alone home. The elevator worked perfectly and was fabulous for moving in and out and after grocery trips. It was our first time in a multi-level home and while we found using the stairs between floors easy and faster, it would have been exhausting to climb all the way to top from the bottom! This was our fourth year of renting a “Christmas House” and everyone agreed it was the best. Thank you Michelle and Betsy for answering all of my questions promptly. We’d return again in a heartbeat! 🎄❤️
