We hope you will also appreciate this historic A-frame as we do when we regularly stay at Mountain Springs Chalet.
Enjoy its convenient location to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park (skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snow tubing, slides, as well as multiple summer activities and amusements, including a zoo), downtown Gatlinburg, additional attractions in Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Also enjoy returning to Mountain Springs Chalet's seclusion, peacefulness and spaciousness. Share our joy exploring the creek or listening to it from the deck, the trees, the flowers, the wildlife, the fireplace, the campfire pit, BBQ grill, the full kitchen, and the charming mountain décor. Also enjoy the Chalet Village Clubhouses with pools, game rooms, tennis courts, workout rooms, and more (and various discounts to attractions and shops).
Mountain Springs Chalet is named after the mountain springs that originate from a small cave across the driveway from the front door. This mountain spring flows underneath the driveway and emerges on the hillside to flow into a Cove Mountain stream that makes it way to Buckberry Creek.
Buckberry Creek is a large creek that runs across from the chalet down the mountain to the Little River in downtown Gatlinburg. It is fed by our mountain springs (coming out of the mountain across from the front door that runs underneath the driveway and down the hillside) as well as many other spring-fed streams including a stream at the foot of the driveway. There are multiple places to sit on the banks and rocks and enjoy the water flows and aquatic life. Buckberries, as well as blackberries, grow along the creek and the mountain-side.
