Fabulous kitchen and dining area, cozy living room with views to Eldborg Crater, comfortable 5 bedrooms with all new beds, 2 bathrooms, outdoor barbecue and Amazing mountain views in all directions. Walking distance to three rivers; Núpá, Þverá and Haffjarðará River. Close by is the beautiful Snæfellsnes Peninsula and Snæfellsjökull National Park with many beautiful nature attractions.

Such a beautiful, thoughtful, comfortable, perfect VRBO. Kitchen is very well equipped and appliances easy to use, bathrooms very modern and has everything you need bedrooms nice sized with comfortable beds and pillows.The views out of every window are epic!! Hot tub is amazing!! The communication with the hosts is excellent.

Stunning views! House was perfect for our family and had amazing views! The hot tub was incredible after a day of hiking/exploring! Woke up to sheep right out the front door in the morning! Saw northern lights both nights!Highly recommend a stay here!

The house was immaculate and modern, had absolutely everything we needed and check in/ check out was flawless. The hot tub is huge and we enjoyed using it. The location is very secluded but just what we wanted in an attempt to see some northern lights from the hot tub which is exactly what happened on our last night. Spectacular.

Beautiful home with a lot of privacy
Sitting in the sparkling clean hot pool on the porch at night in the frigid air and gazing at the sky was incredible. House was huge and rooms were big - could fit a lot of people comfortably. Beds were very comfy too!

Lovely stay at Hrossholt on Snaefellsnes Peninsula
This house is very clean, warm, inviting and modern. It has a great kitchen, comfortable rooms and beautiful views from the hot tub. It allows for a great relaxing time with family after driving the ring road. The weather was beautiful AND we saw the northern lights which was the highlight of our trip. Great hosts who communicated well. We highly recommend this property.

Great Place to Disconnect
Remote Location but a great place to disconnect from the world and enjoy the scenic view of the mountains all while taking a dip in the hot tub making it for a tranquil environment. you might be able to get a chance to view the northern light assuming the weather conidition is good for it

Amazing hosts and house!
All the communication with Heidi and Rob was outstanding.The house was better than we anticipated. We had 10 adults and we all fit very well. The hot tub was so great after long days of exploring and hiking. The house was very modern and well laid out. The week we stayed with them happened to be one of the warmest on record. I contacted the host because the house was very warm at night, they were so kind and brought a couple of fans over which helped. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This is by far the BEST home rental we have ever had! It far exceeded our expectations, especially after renting similar places in other parts of Iceland for our group of 10. Our whole family would have loved to stay more to enjoy this home! It is modern, specious, well laid out and well furnished. The surrounding nature is beautiful and breathtaking. The hosts have clearly documented instructions about everything and even have a full map of Iceland and a visitor guide for easy reference! There is temperature control in every room. There were plenty of towels! This home made our whole Iceland trip worthwhile.

We are a three generation family of 9. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Plenty of room, books and games for all ages. The hot tub and the cold plunge were awesome, so relaxing after our days of hiking. Having a rainy day was a benefit as we could watch the waterfalls coming off the cliffs from the kitchen windows. The Elbourg crater and river near the house were more eye treats. And horses and sheep!!!! The hosts were quickly available for any questions. We all thought, “How can we move here?” Vegamot Restaurant at the Snaefellsness Hotel was welcoming with delicious food.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber, gepflegt und entsprach vollständig der Beschreibung sowie den Fotos im Inserat. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen und alles war in einem sehr guten Zustand.Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts sehr wohlgefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

We wanted to build a nice holiday home, villa, where we could relax and recharge the batteries and we think that's precisely what we succeeded. Also the short distance to the town Borgarnes and Stykkishólmur, where you can find all necessities, and to the Capital Reykjavík, is a very big advantage.
