Charming free standing Casita in Taos, NM

Our Casita is an inviting vacation rental located in Taos, New Mexico. The two bedroom, two bath house offers breathtaking views of sunsets off the back portal, and east views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We provide our guests with the utmost comfort by supplying them with organic sheets, towels, mattresses and bed pillows. We also use non-toxic cleaning products and provide non-toxic soaps. The kitchen is appointed with fiesta ware, stainless cookware & a non-toxic non-stick frying pan. Mexican glassware and more.

The house is conveniently located approximately 4 miles from the Taos Plaza and Taos Country Club golf course, making it the perfect location for a getaway. We are also located 22 miles from the Taos Ski Valley. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, our Casita is the perfect home away from home.

The yard of the Casita is fully fenced.

We stay in Taos a lot. Probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed in. Very peaceful, enjoyed the patio.

House was great. Communication with host was excellent. Only issue was finding it in dark; directions were fine, but finding street names to know when to turn was a challenge. Certainly no fault of host. Well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

In Taos we have a dark sky ordinance with limited night lights; and although it can make navigation challenging without a moon to guide you - generally the night skies here are incredibly spectacular! This Casita is a very attractive house. Very clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, the stand alone shower is a plus. A good kitchen with a FULL SIZE REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER! Lots of supplies.The covered entry and covered back porch are convienient. Very quiet,which is appreciated.The views of the mountains are attractive.This is a great Casita to be in.

What a special home this is! Katy is a gracious, responsive host and makes the rental experience smooth and reassuring. The home is bright, welcoming, and well equipped, and the mountain views from the sitting room are especially breathtaking. My kids and I were especially delighted by Jimmy Dean, the neighborhood cat who made us feel quite loved. I would highly recommend this home.

My husband and I had a great stay at this lovely Casita! Katy was very welcoming and accommodating. The home was very clean and comfortable, super cozy. The fenced in back yard was nice for our small pup. We also were very pleased with the golf at the Taos Country Club. All in all we had a great stay and we will return!
