Here is the note I sent to the owner after I left. It never received a response.-My stay in the unit was not what I had expected. Upon arriving 6 hours later than expected due to a delayed flight, I walked into the apartment to find it smelled horrible. Dirty water had been left in the bottom of the dishwasher (still is) and had started to grow fungus and mold. There was no dishwasher soap in the unit so I ran it on sanitize to do what I could to make the smell go away. I'm very grateful the unit has windows that open. As you know, I had to go digging for toilet paper at midnight. The unit had not been well cleaned before I arrived. I literally ruined a pair of white socks walking on the floor because they had not been mopped in a long time. Surfaces are not getting dusted as every surface was covered in dust. There is black mold growing in the shower and the shampoo/conditioner containers on the wall were empty. There was garbage under the bed ( water bottles, candy wrappers and a sock. There were long black hairs in the shower and on the floors all over the apartment. No care was taken to get this unit ready. There was hair, dust bunnies and 2 paperclips on the rug in the livingroom. The couch was also not vacuumed. I have pictures if you would like to see the dirt and mold.
