We were in town for a wedding at Hotel DuPont. The proximity to the hotel was amazing! The apartment was cozy and clean. Felt very safe and loved that you needed a code just to enter the main door at the entrance to the building. The host was great and responded quickly to any questions. Having free parking was also a huge plus!! Definitely recommend and would stay again if ever in town.

It’s located very much downtown Wilmington, expect the usual street noise. Being on the fourth floor w/o an elevator wasn’t really an issue for our three night stay. Yes, carrying luggage up four floors is not as easy as pressing a button and waiting on a lift - but once up and eventually down it was just fine.

Here is the note I sent to the owner after I left. It never received a response.-My stay in the unit was not what I had expected. Upon arriving 6 hours later than expected due to a delayed flight, I walked into the apartment to find it smelled horrible. Dirty water had been left in the bottom of the dishwasher (still is) and had started to grow fungus and mold. There was no dishwasher soap in the unit so I ran it on sanitize to do what I could to make the smell go away. I'm very grateful the unit has windows that open. As you know, I had to go digging for toilet paper at midnight. The unit had not been well cleaned before I arrived. I literally ruined a pair of white socks walking on the floor because they had not been mopped in a long time. Surfaces are not getting dusted as every surface was covered in dust. There is black mold growing in the shower and the shampoo/conditioner containers on the wall were empty. There was garbage under the bed ( water bottles, candy wrappers and a sock. There were long black hairs in the shower and on the floors all over the apartment. No care was taken to get this unit ready. There was hair, dust bunnies and 2 paperclips on the rug in the livingroom. The couch was also not vacuumed. I have pictures if you would like to see the dirt and mold.
