Overall it is a good space. The cleaning supplies under the kitchen and bathroom sinks need to be moved so toddlers can’t access and the main door is easy for toddler to open and dash down the stairs, so a dead bolt would be more secure. The bathroom floor rugs never did dry out during our stay, and some of the beds had new, never been washed sheets. Frustratingly, there was a miscommunication around dates of our stays, so we had to find different lodging for the first night, which was quite difficult because the surrounding areas were already full so we ended up staying farther out of town. It is a nice space for families. It is lovely to have three bedrooms to spread out in and we truly did appreciate having a pack n play available for the toddler. The kitchen is equipped with large pots and nut crackers for seafood boils which was a lot of fun. There is laundry detergent available as well. Overall it is was a good stay, there were just some frustrating details that can be easily addressed for the future.

Wonderful and quiet place to stay for comfort and proximity to all the activities in the area! Fully stocked kitchen and all the comforts of home, with a nice peaceful setting. Great location and close to stores to purchase necessities.

Though the curb appeal took us aback, the apartment itself was very clean and met our needs. Our party was four adults and a toddler. We spent most days at Acadia National Park. The location of the property was excellent for getting to and from the park. It was also very close to a grocery store, as well as Main St. The amenities of the apartment allowed us to cook most of our meals, minimizing our expenses. We certainly recommend the property and, if given the chance, would book again.

The apartment itself was very nice - conveniently located, well-stocked kitchen and linens. comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the locally themed decor. Unfortunately the staircase/hallway entrance to the apartment seems to have suffered a roof leak and smelled very strongly of mold, which made trips in and out unpleasant.

Nice quiet place to launch your Acadia adventure

We had a wonderful stay at Tim’s home in Ellsworth. Property was exactly as advertised, and communication with him was always prompt and very helpful. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom and kitchen amenities were fantastic, and the large living room with TV was ideal for relaxing. The property is about 15-20 min from the park entrance and 25 min from Bar Harbor by car, so an easy drive in and out. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Acadia Area June 2024

We stayed at this property 6/27-7/2 5 nights. The unit is clean and big enough for family of 5. It’s away from all the crowds but close to the park, Walmart and other attractions. Definitely will stay again!

Comfortable stay

When we arrived we were greeted and given the tour. The property is lovely and comfortable, especially with snow on the ground. The beds were fantastic, and the kitchen was stocked with utensils. If I am in the area again it is definitely on top of my list to stay again.
