Very nice home in great location
We had a great time at Casa de Marlin. We expected it to be small being a 2-bedroom but were surprised at how spacious it was overall. The location was convenient to everything, we were able to walk to some of the shops and the beach is just a short drive away.
Loved the convenience of having a pool, and the outdoor area was spacious and a nice place to hang out. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate while we were there and it was a bit cool so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we would’ve liked. We did find out it could be heated for an extra fee which was not mentioned anywhere, but someone has to come out to turn the heater on. We didn’t have a ton of time left at that point so it wasn’t worth it but if that could be advertised ahead of time, or when booking, that would be helpful.
Absolutely appreciated that we were able to take our dog with us. There isn’t a yard at the house for pets to use the bathroom but the neighborhood is nice to take them for a walk, just make sure you pick up after them.
There was another home behind the pool that wasn’t advertised but we had access to. We didn’t do anything with it because it seemed like a separate rental unit that was being worked on. If that’s the case would just recommend a heads up to both tenants since they seemingly share the pool and are very close to one another.
Despite the weather, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely go back.
