Beachfront Cottage with detached screened porch with stunning beach views.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! This a true beach community located on the Delaware Bay. Steps to the water, featuring the only detached screened-in porch located on the beach in town. Perfect for evening dinners after long day in the sun. The cottage is fully furnished, with two bedrooms, one bedroom has a king size bed, the other a Queen size bed. Two separate living areas, each with pull-out sofa beds. An enclosed attached porch with a Futon, plenty of room for 10 people. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. Also, washer and dryer. There are many activities close by; Milford has a downtown with several restaurants within 15 minutes. The boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach is 30 minutes south, also with plenty of restaurants and bars. If you are feeling lucky, there are two casinos within 30 minutes of the house. 25 minutes away is the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. It launches from the quaint town of Lewes, also with plenty of charming shops, making it possible to spend a day in Cape May and be back to house by sunset.
So, if you are looking for relaxation but also with possibilities of a nearby nightlife, this is the place to be.
Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach
Fires on the beach are allowed, as long as they are 15-20 feet from dunes

Great Birder Locale

Great house with so many positive features! We especially appreciated its location right on the beach; the privacy that the pine trees on either side provided; the separate screened in porch house; the fully stocked kitchen and house; the strong water pressure in the showers. We are looking to stay here again in the future.

Great weekend

I loved our stay. The cottage is perfect and the location is awesome. I would like to learn more about the cottage history and can only imagine the memories and stories folks have experienced through the decades. I would like to book again. Thank you for sharing your getaway.

Perfect location for a relaxing weekend

My husband and I took our dogs to the beach over the holiday weekend and this charming beach cottage provided just what we needed. You are literally steps away from the natural beach! We were able to walk the dogs several times a day without a sole in sight. A summer visit may be different but keep in mind a natural beach is just that, no groomer running up and down the shore. The house had plenty of room for us and even had an extra bedroom and closed in porch for additional guest. The owners were very open and communication was great. Since we were one of their first renters we made some suggestions to get their home up to par so future renters are welcomed to a clean, safe home. We would stay again since we had a nice relaxing weekend. Highly recommend walking in the area and sticking around for the sunset! If you love nature you’ll love the area. It’s also only a short drive to Milford and Lewes.
