Sol Purpose

Stay was awesome. Very nice house and close to son in Holly Ridge so he could visit daily. Lovely beach view from both decks and direct access to beach. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great place on the beach!

This is a great place to stay and lives up to its description. This is the second year that I’ve stayed here and will definitely be back. The owner has great communication and keeps the place very clean and comfortable. It’s a perfect house for the perfect getaway in Surf City.

Great family house

Great house for our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids ages 1-8) and 2 dogs. Great porches to hang out on and we loved being so close to the ocean. Close to a public beach access but it wasn’t extremely crowded. Lots of eating spaces and comfortable beds. We would have liked to have a small vacuum for cleaning sand during the week, especially with a pet friendly house.

An Amazing Vacation at Sol Purpose for the 2nd Year in a Row!

We first stayed at Sol Purpose last year and fell in love with Surf City, Topsail Island, and the house. You could not be in a better location to enjoy a week at the beach as the house is right on the beach with private access. On the beach, you have plenty of space as it is deep and most of the other beachgoers are staying in neighboring houses. Inside, the house is tastefully updated with a clean and modern look. The bedrooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and towels & washcloths placed right on the bed. Every bedroom has its own television and the internet is plenty fast for multiple different streams or joining virtual meetings. The kitchen and living area is large and full of light. New stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and plenty of of cutlery, cooking/food preparation tools, and cups/glasses in the drawers and cabinets. The deck overlooks the beach and is a beautiful place to take in a sunset or sunrise. Betsy was communicative and clear about everything we needed to do from booking, to check in, to check out. She fielded questions, responded quickly, and was amenable to requests. On the island we loved JM's On The Water for a reasonably priced, large portioned fresh seafood meal, the Beach Shop & Grill for a fancier meal, and Daybreak Donuts for a freshly made sweet treat. Off the island we loved Sundial Coffee and Tea and Salty Turtle Brewery. There are also a Publix, Wal-Mart, and Food Lion in the same area along with various other standard strip mall shops, restaurants, and gas stations. It made stocking the house with groceries or grabbing something we forgot very easy (about 7 minutes from the house with no traffic). I can't recommend Sol Purpose enough, you'll be in good hands and have a great time!

Sol Purpose was the perfect beachfront rental

We had a wonderful time at Sol Purpose in Surf City. The house was exactly as advertised and communication with the owner was phenomenal. We had a small issue upon check in and the owner immediately responded. She had someone at the property immediately. They stayed into the evening (on a Saturday!) to help make sure everything was ok. That meant a lot to us. It was the perfect beachfront house in the perfect location for the six of us and our dog. We will stay here again the next time we are on Topsail. Highly recommend!!

Lives up to the description . Mom and kids were very satisfied . Great lay out and very clean . Location is perfect also. Most relaxing get away in a long time , can't wait to go back for a longer stay. Hopefully peak time will impress as well. Blender may or may not be there, no worries.
