Cozy cabin in the woods great for families, vacationers, hunters, anglers, snowmobilers/ORVers, and nature lovers!

Featuring bear & moose rustic décor, beds to accommodate 8 friends or family (two queen beds, two twin beds, and a queen-sized sofa bed), dining table for 4, fully equipped kitchen, dedicated WIFI, Smart 50” TV with your streaming service capabilities, washer/dryer, brand new central air conditioning, and small kitchen appliances.

Enjoy privacy while sitting around the firepit in the backyard, bordered on two sides by woods and state-owned land. Take a 5-minute walk to Houghton Lake or drive your boat a quarter mile to the boat launch!

Hosts were great when we had questions! Just wish it would have been cleaner, had more blankets to use on the couch and curtains to pull down at night.Location was excellent with woods on 3 sides of the property, you had plenty of privacy. Close to the lake and all restaurants and stores. Road was relatively quiet and it was a relaxing space to hang out.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. They had everything we needed, which was nice not to have to bring linens or towels etc. Location was close to every place we wanted to go. Very quiet setting. Nice wooded area. We did set up a pop-up screen tent to be able to be outside without mosquito issues. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice little cabin! A/C worked great. Very quiet and peaceful. The loft area is really cool. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice place but the theres 2 roadside trash carts one for trash one for recycling. Recycling one was full and trash bin smelled like the trash in its been there a while. Upstairs was hot. It's like the blower doesn't blow har there was barely any cold air coming out of the vents. Downstairs stayed cooler . Great location just down the road from the boat launch made it nice.

We had an absolutely wonderful time!! Place was exactly what we were looking for!!! Very accommodating and well stocked kitchen!!! Already planning on booking again next summer!! Hosts were great with communication and extremely helpful and nice also! Highly Recommend

Cozy Cabin

This was the coziest cabin and such an awesome place to spend my 40th birthday with friends! Super clean and all communication with property manager was prompt and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Our time here was great! The cabin is cozy and comfortable and it is in a fantastic location! Close to both lakes and easily accessible! We very much enjoyed having a great little place to come back to at the end of the day. And nice neighbors too. Be prepared for mosquitos which are brutal (and obviously not the fault of the owners) Would definitely consider booking again!

Comfy, cozy

We had a nice time. We had hot water, the TV worked well, the beds were comfortable, kitchen and living space was open, it was just what we wanted.

Snowmobile trip

Easy access for parking made it easy to unload and load the trailer. Enjoyed our time on Michigan trails and will probably go back in the summer. See what summer fun is like at lake Houghton

Conveniently located, accurate listing on amenities and cozy atmosphere. Power went out due to transformer issue and wasn’t restored for over 12 hours which caused some concern with not being able to use the water to flush toilets. Would have liked to sit outside but there was no patio furniture. Also felt spied on with the large surveillance camera located at the back door.
