Worst Experience Ever…
I booked this vrbo to take my friend skiing for her 26th birthday. We brought both of our dogs and it was approved by the host. The policies and rules clearly state the property is dog friendly with no other size restrictions or limitations.
At 11pm on Saturday night I received a call from the host and he demanded that we had to leave within the hour and he would give us a half refund as our dogs create too much noise (Which they did not and have not, I have booked many VRBOs with our pets and have never had such an experience). There were also no noise rules or quiet hours located anywhere. No neighbors approached us either so it came as a surprise.
He stated multiple people had video footage of us which violates our personal privacy. He was aggressive and rude. We were fearful for our safety as he said he knew the cops in town. As two young females who were thoroughly shaken we felt it best to leave and hopefully find somewhere we could stay the night. Thankfully a nearby hotel had availability or else we would have been abandoned in a new place. He is now refusing to give a refund and has left my friend and I with an awful and terrifying experience.
I have contacted my lawyer regarding this experience and if I don’t get a refund and no action is taken I will have no option but to file a lawsuit in small claims court against the host and VRBO
