Coming from out of town, this was a rental to help me convalesce for a period after a procedure at Cleveland Clinic. Our host was very communicative and accommodating, to check on my progress and see if I needed anything. The home was very comfortable and met our needs quite well. The deck, backyard and firepit looked so very inviting, but the winter snap made us just spectators. Thank you!

The host was in contact with us a lot even though it was a holiday week. They checked in and made sure everything was up to our liking. The house was a perfect space for my family and we loved being able to bring our pups too. Thank you for the amazing stay we will definitely be back!

The Cozy Escape lived up to its name and the communication with Lindsay could not have been better. The home was immaculately clean, comfortable, and set in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. My dog especially appreciated all the deer she saw in the front yard and throughout the neighborhood. Lindsay was a perfect host and always responded within minutes. She made a number of great suggestions about places to visit which came in handy when the primary attraction (James Garfield home) was closed due to the government shutdown. Happily, there is a lot to do in the area. My dog and I spent over 6 hours at the beautiful Holden Arboretum, then had a wonderful time in Fairport Harbor (lighthouse, pet-friendly beach and yummy ice cream at the Fairport Harbor Creamery, recommended by Lindsay and pet-friendly). We also visited Headlands Beach State Park (no dogs on the beach or at the nearby nature preserve) and walked one of the trails. We squeezed in a lot for one full day and it was a delight to come back to the Cozy Escape. I do not believe the photos in the listing did the home or yard justice. It was truly a delight staying there and we plan to come back whenever the James Garfield home (and government) reopen. It was a perfect stay; I wish I could give it more stars.

This property was an excellent choice for our stay. The home was in a very nice, safe neighborhood. It was well maintained both inside and out. The central location made it easy to get around, with a variety of stores, restaurants, activities nearby. The hosts were easy to communicate with and were very responsive to the minor questions we had. I highly recommend this Vrbo.

Adorable cottage with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The house was super clean with everything you need for a weekend getaway. Beautiful yard and a family of deer to greet you!

Very responsive and quick communication. The house was in a quiet area with a large backyard which was great for sitting around and relaxing with the family. The house was very clean and welcoming.

Check in/out was very nice with a lock box. Facilities were clean and well supplied- kitchen had every utensil I could have wanted, plates, cups, etc. Wi-Fi was easy, bonus was having the washer and dryer. Nice place, I would consider staying there again.

Beautiful home in a quaint neighborhood.

The house was clean and the host easy to communicate with. Check-in was easy. The neighborhood felt very safe and was a short distance to anywhere we needed to be. Would definitely look to stay here on our next trip to Cleveland!

Enjoyed our Stay

We loved how central this property was to all our activities and the easy access. Everything seemed to be well maintained and was comfortable for 4 adults. The one off-putting item was when I pulled the bed back for nighttime. The bed had either already been slept in or was very sloppily made. I cringed to sleep in it but had no choice as there were no other sheet sets available that I could find. Also, there were no extra blankets available. The heavy duvet on the beds were too hot, so I removed the fill for our stay, however, the cover alone was not enough to stay warm through the night. Our stay would have been more comfortable had the bed been freshly made, there were other available blankets, and if there had been more than one hand towel available for 4 adults for several days. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed our stay in this home
