The Tumbleweed is a one room, pet friendly log cabin for 2. This cabin is a returning guest favorite and has a great location on the edge of a steep hill in the woods.

Steep drive: 4wd recommended at all times and req'd in inclement weather.

Amenities:

Pet Friendly (up to 2 dogs under 40 lbs each for additional rate)

King sized bed

Private Hot tub

Central air and electric heat

Bed linens + 1 bath towel/washcloth per guest

DirecTv and DVD player. Bring DVDs.

Gas grill. Should propane run out during your stay, we will reimburse upon receipt.

Microwave, Keurig, classic drip coffee pot, toaster, and basic kitchen necessities

Dishes, pots and pans, and silverware

Starter paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and dish detergent

No WiFi at this time.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. The yard/outdoor seating was smaller than expected but it was a rainy weekend so we weren't able to use the fire pit area anyway. The hot tub was clean and well maintained.

The directions were really good to get to the cabin and the cabin itself had a beautiful view. However, when we got there we found bugs in the sink and what I can only describe as “snail trails” on the couch. They appeared to be stains from a bodily fluid. I do think the cabin is a little overpriced for its size and the state it was in, as well as it only having 2 towels and 2 washcloths for the whole cabin.

The cabin is small and cozy, with everything you need and nothing to distract from the beautiful scenery around you. Just staying on the property is relaxing, but also so close to many beautiful sites to see.

The stay was great! We needed a weekend away to just relax and not have to worry about the stress we’ve had going on, and it was a birthday weekend so that made it great as well. The cabin was very cozy which made the stay very relaxing. With the cabin being very close to Ash Cave and the Old Mans Cave it made it easy to explore the area and come back to cook lunch. Overall the stay was great.

Hocking Lodging Company has been in business since 2015 and has worked with 1000's of unique renters throughout those years. We have around 30 properties in our portfolio sprinkled all around the Hocking Hills region. Our locations range in size from 1 room couples cabins to 20 person lodges and even a handful of RV sites. You probably won't find folks who enjoy their jobs more than we do. Living in the Hocking Hills area ourselves, we are happy to help navigate things to do and recommendations for you. High Rock Hideaways features 9 couples cabins along the same quiet lane. All of our cabins have been built and situated with complete privacy and relaxation in mind.

We also highlight 4 rv spots for seasonal camping.

For those of you who wish to visit the local attractions, we are within ten minutes of Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Whispering Cave and John Glenn Observatory Park.
