Had fun but just a little frustrated with a few things

1st thing in the door, hinge was broken off the door.Closet/ storage door in dining room broken. Kitchen table glass was broken. One of the burners on the stove kept coming unplugged which made it unusable.Place was clean, the washer/dryer combo was nice.Recliners wouldn't stay.in the recline position.I picked this room specifically for the recliners as both my dad and I sleep in recliners at home due to medical conditions.We would come back to the prooerty but not this room.

Findings

Location is perfect.Property is good.Pool to small need more of them. We had key problems. Only 1 key was provided. Code lock never worked. Wasnt the cleanest when we arrived. But nice spacious place for my family. Easy walk to the beach. It needs new mattresses for the king bed. No dust pan. But they got us 1 to use.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love to stay at Shoreline Towers.The location is great and the employees are sooo helpful and kind. This unit is fine, it is not updated and no washer and dryer but it is very clean and a pleasant place to stay. We would stay in this unit again and can't say enough good things about Shoreline as a whole.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice area to stay in. The beach isn't that far away. We stated in unit 1116 it was clean but kinda has a musty smell to it. We had 4 adults staying and only 4 towels for 5 nights 4 days and no where to wash them. There was no washer and dryer in the unit. The washer they state that you can use in the hallway were awful! I should have paid more attention or does say it does not have a balcony and which it does not. I don't understand that because who wants to go to beach and I sit out on the balcony. We had a good trip but we will not stay in unit 1116 again. Maybe a different unit would have been better for us

Room smelled like cigarettes

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very dated, unit had smell of cigarettes, kitchen and bathroom cabinets were falling apart. When we complain about smell the cleaning manager promise us to refresh the carpets on Monday, but it never happened.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Robin and Brandon in housekeeping fixed our TV and were all around happy, friendly and super helpful and helped make our vacation better. Jennifer in housekeeping always had a smile and was friendly too. Kelley in maintenance was always on the job and in early. Unit 1116 seem shabby and had no washer/dryer should have extra towels. Two trash bags for the wee makes it impossible to bag all trash. Furniture was worn and draw in master bead room broken. We had a giant piece of broken glass in the closet that I removed for Safety. Window in main room leaked when it rained hard. Ice dispenser in the refrigerator did not work and was never fixed. I love the Shoreline towers and have stayed at tower 3 twice and this time tower ounce and will be back next year too.

In a word “BROKEN “

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rooms were big, But.... the keys didn’t want to work, we called maintenance but they never showed up the whole week we were there. The dish washer leaked so we had to wash our dishes. The shower in the master was missing something. It was like being sandblasted. The carpet was crunchy and the furniture was wore out. The towel rack fell off when we put a towel on it. And it took 3 days before the fridge got cold. Needs alot if TLC.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented the condo for the weekend to visit my dad who was staying in an adjacent condo on the same floor. It was a nice large condo however I would not rent the same unit again. It was very outdated and in need of painting. The shower/tub didn't drain so by the time I was done with my shower, I was standing in about 2 inches of water. The guest beds were squeaky and not very comfy although they had the best view of the beach.This is the 3rd year I've visited my dad while staying at Shoreline and the units he has stayed in are in much better shape so I was very disappointed for the price I paid for 3 nights. I will check reviews more carefully before I select a condo. I will recommend Shoreline Towers but not Unit 1116.Nancy W from Sunnyvale, TX

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo needs a make over starting with the front door which looks horrible and doesn't close and lock all that well. All the blinds are not working properly, so you have no privacy. When we arrived on Saturday evening, the A/C in the bedrooms was not working, it was not repaired until Tuesday, to make matters worst the condo above was having construction done so from 9am to 5pm very noisy!! The owner smokes in this condo but the smell wasn't that bad so not an issue with us. Shoreline Towers is a great place to stay, just not in this condo with no A/C, construction noises and no privacy from other condos looking in all around, master bedroom has a sliding glass door and the blinds do not block much, so don't expect privacy there either. There was a reason why this condo was the last one available to rent and I just explained it all to you. We were there the week of 7/25/15.
