Our 3BR/2BA remodeled Mill Valley home is a great retreat for business and vacation travelers alike!
Fully remodeled property inside and out with brand new!
Guests will arrive to find a spacious and open-concept home. Brand new kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances throughout and just about everything a home cook will need to whip up a delicious meal!

The living room features large windows, which open up to hillside views and flood the space with natural light. There's also a large Smart TV and Tempurpedic pull-out mattress so we can comfortably host extra guests.

Just off the living room, there's a lovely private balcony with a couple of Adirondack chairs to take in gorgeous morning views of Mt. Tamalpais.

The first two of the three bedrooms feature brand new queen mattresses, large closet, and gorgeous colors to make every guest feel right at home. These two bedrooms share the spacious hallway bathroom with dual sink vanity and a spacious shower with a gorgeous stainless steel
Please note there are 30 steps to get to the property.
About Mill Valley:
Mill Valley is a quaint, trendy town in midst of Redwoods and upscale hipsters, we enjoy(ed) living in Mill Valley for many reasons: nature, great restaurants, fresh organic living, conscientious people. Overall, it's positioned perfectly for great for outdoor fun, mountain biking/hiking, beaches, redwood forests, near SF, and an easy drive to sunny weather (when needed)! Nearby trails (including Tennessee Valley, the Dipsea, and Matt Davis) and both Muir Woods National Monument and Mount Tamalpais State Park are all just adjacent to Mill Valley!

Mill Valley family stay

We had a lovely 4 nights at this home within easy walking distance of groceries and a nice 1 mile to Mill Valley center. Space was clean and well supplied. Would definitely stay here again!

Mill Valley is so cute! Came to CA for 6 Flags, glad we stayed here. Road out front is busy but quiet at night. Overnight parking was easy. Lots of towels and house was super clean. Starbucks & Safeway across the street for groceries. Spotty wi-fi for work but better later in the day. Go to Madrona Bakery for breakfast and Hook Fish Co for dinner!

Mill Valley stay

The home is warmly appointed, and the owners are very nice. The location was wonderful for our purposes of attending the high school graduation next door, and having a food store across the street was a big plus as well. Only two things were a negative for us: there are 32 concrete stairs to negotiate to the front door (we had a 4 yr old child and an 80 yr person to assist) and one bathroom makes a loud clunking noise when the toilet is flushed. The stairs would have been good to know about in advance, the clunking toilet became less of an issue when we adjusted to it over the week. Otherwise, it suited us quite well, we would definitely stay there again!

Not a good Host

We messaged the host to find out if we could check in an hour early. She informed us that she was still getting the place ready. When we arrived at the apartment, the temperature inside was 86 degrees. All the windows were closed, and there were no fans. The place was sweltering, and the owner had just been there. As a family, we decided not to stay and booked a hotel. We messaged the owner to let her know, but she was not sympathetic. Her response was, “Heads up, we are going through a bizarre heat wave.” After we had left the property, she sent another message saying she was bringing “a” fan. This is a three-bedroom apartment on the third floor; one fan wouldn’t have done much. Considering the circumstances, we hoped that some of our funds might be refunded, but we have had no success. The host refused to even talk with us on the phone. She said to speak to Vrbo, that it was out of her hands. Vrbo informed us that it was up to the host regarding any refunds. The listing doesn’t mention AC, but for the price, I made the mistake of assuming it did have AC. There is no designated parking spot; it’s hit-or-miss parking on the street. As mentioned in the listing, there are 32 steps, three flights of stairs. The host is not very good with communication, and if you have an issue, good luck!

Pros:We were allowed to check in earlyThe beds were very comfortableUnfortunately when I booked the “home” which was really an apartment, I told Yvan we were a group of late 60 year old women traveling the pacific coast highway and we’d be starting in the San Francisco area. We were never told that there were 32 steep, concrete steps UP to the apartment. After some research AFTER we arrived, I found a little blurb “30 steps to home” buried way down in the description. We struggled to even get into the apartment having no choice but to LUG our 40 lb. bags up those 32 stairs. We were also dismayed that there were no window coverings on a lot of the windows, nor did many of them not lock. In addition the hall bathroom shower handle fell off with the first shower. They also left lots of half open/used food in the refrigerator. The Living Room is very tiny, and the kitchen had no towels or hot pads. One of the reasons we book a house is to cook meals on vacation. The house also has no air conditioning.Unfortunately would not stay at this property again. The STEPS were the big killer.

We're originally from South America. We have been calling Mill Valley home for the last 20 years. Nature, culture, amazing restaurants, world class biking and proximity to SF brought us here.

Traveling is our passion and learning about other cultures is our philosophy! We love traveling!
It took us almost two years to completely remodel our home and now we are ready to host guests from around the world!
We're excited to share with you all that Mill Valley and the Bay Area has to offer! Let’s help you plan your next adventure!

This is the best location in Marin. Just few block and walking distance to restaurants, boutiques, grocery stores and coffee shops.
Lots of hikes and adventures, including the famous 7 mile Dipsea that takes you to Stinson Beach, Mount Tam and Tennessee valley.
Mill Vally is Mecca for cyclists, incredible bike routes.
We are also centrally located for day trips to Napa, Sonoma, Point Reyes, Carmel, Big Sur and Silicon Valley.
If you are traveling for work, we are a very easy commute to San Francisco. If you are not renting a car, there is public transportation right in front the property.
