Long Term Rental

Escape to peaceful country living in this unique riverside duplex retreat near the Canadian border. Perfect for fishermen, outdoor lovers, long-term stays, or anyone looking to relax and unplug from busy city life.
This private one-level living space offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen, dining area, full bathroom, washer and dryer, and cozy sleeping arrangements. The bedroom features a full-size bed, while the living area includes a queen bed and an additional futon for extra guests.
Step outside and enjoy the beauty of the river, a backyard BBQ grill, and a fire pit perfect for evenings under the stars. One of the property’s most charming features is the nostalgic sound of the nearby train whistle that adds to the cozy country atmosphere.
Beginning in June, the tavern located in the front half of the building will be open daily from 2 PM–11 PM, offering guests a fun and convenient local gathering spot while still maintaining the privacy of the living quarters.
Whether you're here for fishing, work, a long-term getaway, or simply to enjoy quiet country surroundings, this hidden gem offers comfort, character, and a truly memorable stay

The property had what we needed, it was warm, we could cook meals and it was close to Voyageurs National Park where we went hiking

Comfortable cabin with amazing hospitality for any needs for your stay. Easy access and convenient to Voyager National Park and International Falls. Highly recommended for an enjoyable visit to the area.

Perfect quiet getaway!

Owner made us feel well loved and taken care of! We wanted a quiet getaway, it was perfect on a river, a fire pit, canoe(was cold and didn’t use, but was available). I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing hospitality

My family have a wonderful stay. April is by far the nicest and most communicative host we’ve had. The house was immaculate and had so many additional amenities. Highly recommend this property.

Phone service isn’t great at all times but I try to be on the property or nearby to accommodate and respect everyone’s privacy as well ! Cozy location perfect for a few friends to get away

Host was very gracious on ammenities and more than available on helping if we needed anything or had questions about the town. Provided wood and smores for the fire pit. Was overall fantastic and would visit again if in the area.

Great stay

The place was great! Stocked with toiletries and food. The beds were comfortable. We only spent one night but had a good stay. April was so nice and when we forgot a laptop behind, she was on it right away. Would stay here again

Quiet and has Everything you’ll need!

Cozy 2 bedroom cabin was in the perfect location. Cabin had all the essentials and more! Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Visited Voyageurs National Park, coming back to see more sights.

Cozy with all the amenities

Very pleasant experience; clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Only downside was the train activity nearby, but with some music in the background it wasn't very noticeable.

Cozy Spot.

April’s home provided a comfortable base for exploring the areas around all three visitor centers of Voyageurs National Park, and International Falls. My son loved the massage chair!

Coupdn't ask for a better stat

April is an amazing host, she made us feel more than welcome. She made us bagels on our arrival and left treats for our pup. The massage chair and tanning bed are relaxing especially if the weather is bad. If you love the outdoors with a few modern amenities this is the place.

Seriously, just so nice!

We really loved our stay at the cabin! We felt so welcome and at home, we didn't mind having to stay because of the rain. Literally anything we needed was provided! Its in a great location! Not too far from International Falls, but also close enough to Kabetogama to make it an easy drive. April, you knocked it out of the park for us! This was the break we needed to recharge and remotivate. Thank you so much!!

Enjoy the stay

We really enjoyed our 2-day stay here. April is such a great host. Great communication. She addressed our questions promptly. She was so sweet to get life jackets for us since I asked about canoe other reviewer mentioned. We found everything we need and more except wifi and phone/text coverage. No coverage ended up to be the blessing for us with my 2 college kids. We spent our time talking, cooking, taking turn on massage chairs, and the highlight is canoeing on the river in the back of the house. We would go to International City to get grocery after visiting national park and checking emails/getting on internet/making phone calls and texts there before coming back to house to cook dinner and hang out. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you, April!
