Disgusting - Couldn't Even Stay There
This property is so unsanitary I will be contacting the health department in Canada. It should not be allowed to be rented to anyone. When we arrived the door was just open (no keypad or anything) and the parking was caverns of dirt with big holes in it. After going inside, we decided pretty quickly we could not stay there. There was an ant infestation in the kitchen, the sheets were old and stained with unmade beds (some bedding was missing entirely), there was mold and mildew in the washing machine so we couldn't wash the sheets, there was mold and peeling in the bathroom and very strong smells. When we contacted VRBO we were told if we sent pictures they would refund the money. We had a wedding to get to and 3 hours to shower after our red eye flight so we left the property after discussing with VRBO and spent twice as much on a hotel that was twice as far away from the wedding, costing us more in parking and gas as well. We never got our money back. I called VRBO and said it's b/w us and the property owner, I will be disputing the charge with our credit card company and never ever renting from VBRO again as they refuse to assist us in recovering our fraudulently acquired money, I consider this fraudulent because the property is misrepresented. If this were in the United States I may take it to small claims court. Do not stay here. I would attach pictures if this would let me.
