Restful weekend

We had a wonderful, peaceful, and restful weekend! Family life has been hectic so this home provided the time we needed to recharge. Communication was excellent as was the entire weekend.

Great family getaway!

Grandparents and Family Trip

Hostess accommodating, helpful, and thoughtful. House is magnificent , well furnished , extremely clean , and has a very homey feeling. One of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in and definitely are planning to rent again.

Lovely stay

House was very comfortable and accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 children well. Lots of space to be together but also allowed for privacy. Great location with beautiful views.

Perfect place!

Location was great and we loved the hot tub. The owners thought of everything we could need. Loved sitting in front of the fire enjoying the nature outside. Loved it so much we already booked for next year!

Family Christmas

We celebrated a late family Christmas weekend at this beautiful property. It was definitely one of the nicest and cleanest properties we have stayed at, right down to the bedding and kitchenware, it even included dog dishes, treats and a dog bed. I can't say again how new and clean everything was, would definitely stay here again!

Annual Galena Trip

The house is beautiful, gorgeous wood work throughout. We’ve rented about 10 properties in Galena over the years and this has top billing, it was unanimous. The kitchen is well appointed and it’s a small thing but having large garbage cans on porch is nice so you don’t have to run and dump the garbage everyday.

Peaceful

Girls weekend and tried the newly renovated spa. Loved the layout of the home and privacy for everyone. Nice screened in porch. Only recommendation is to bring your own fireside chairs with cup holders. Mark was a pleasure to work with. We will stay again for sure.

Can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay.

The house and the peaceful area around the house encouraged relaxation and fun with friends and/or family. We loved that 3 of the four bedrooms each had their own bathroom and still a fourth 1/2 bath for the extra bedroom and 2nd family room. When we were there, we spent most of our time in front of the fireplace enjoying the food and snacks spread all over the island and kitchen table! We were impressed by how clean the home was and comfortable the beds were. We hope we will be able to book again in the future.

Girls’ getaway

Perfect property for women of “a certain age” who each require their own room. Only one bedroom on the main level (one more upstairs and two in the basement) but easy stairs to navigate. The house contained everything one could possibly need and we lacked for nothing. Highly recommended.
