Cozy cottage on Lake Lucerne in Crandon, Wi. Home of the Crandon Brush Run !

Lake Lucerne is a pristine 1000-acre full recreation lake. After a day of enjoying the lake or attending the Crandon Brush Run you can relax in the 8-person Hot Tub! Lounge on the massive deck and watch the sunset or sit around a campfire just rite for making smores!

The hot tub is maintained on an as needed basis. This means that from time to time the maintenance person will be checking on the tub to make sure that the chemical balance is correct. You will be asked to add chemicals after using the tub to assure its cleanliness. The tub is intended for registered guests only. For safety and insurance reasons the tub and deck area are monitored by video camera. Any recordings are deleted at check out.

Check out time is 10:00 am, check in time is 3:00 pm.

We are renting to your family and the number of individuals staying in the cottage and using the hot tub should match your reservation.
As noted in the VRBO listing the rental rate is for four people. Extra people will be charged $20.00 per day. This is to cover the extra costs of linens, towels, cleaning, hot tub chemicals, utilities and maintenance. Wisconsin law requires that I maintain a list of all renters. After making your reservation, please forward to me a list of the people staying at the cottage.

No smoking, underage drinking and no fireworks. Pets are not allowed.

Internet is available and a smart tv. Bring your firestick if you have one.

There are two kayaks and two paddle boards available for use. Wisconsin boating law requires life jackets when using these. You are responsible for life jackets when using them.

Cottage has a gas grill for your use. A weber can be arranged if requested, bring your own charcoal.

Parking is available for four cars and or trailers.

A large dock is available for swimming or tying up your boat.

Please note that the main cabin has two bedrooms with a king and queen bed. The detached bunkhouse has two bedrooms with a queen bed and two bunk beds. There is no bathroom in the bunkhouse. The bunkhouse is not available Memorial Day weekend or 4TH of July weekend.

Our cottage is inspected and licensed by the state of Wisconsin. Drinking water is tested annually. This information is posted in the cottage.

New this summer. We have eliminated the individual AC units and have installed a mini-split AC and heating system. Every room has
it's own wall mounted temperature control system.

Once again we enjoyed our stay at Bill’s cottage! It’s the perfect location, just minutes from downtown and the race track. It’s nice to have a place to call home for the week and Bill is always easy to reach if we need anything. If you want a beautiful place on the water with peace and quiet then look no further!

My three kids and I had a great time at the cozy cottage on Lake Lucerne. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, fires at night, and fishing off the dock. It is a great location and Bill was very helpful. Thank you for a nice weekend on the lake!

Quiet Getaway

The home was easy to find, very clean, had everything basic we needed. Used the kayaks and those were in good condition as well. The property was well maintained and cared for. The hot tub was ready for our use which was awesome. We were too early in the season for the dock. Overall we'd love to stay again, maybe even bring the kids next time. The leaving process was simple and not tedious like some places.

Perfect Cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bill‘s cottage! It was as represented in the listing. It was secluded and peaceful. Amazing Cabin

First, the host was fantastic! He communicated quickly and was helpful. He showed us around the cabin when we arrived and then checked on us mid way through. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well maintained. There was a beautiful deck and lots of seating options. We are looking forward to booking here again!

The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and dining supplies. There is no dishwasher. Because my daughter and I were going to be arriving after dark, I asked our Landlord to leave lights on and the door unlocked. He did that for us.....

Cute cottage on Lake Lucerne

Great place to spend time with the family! Cottage and grounds were very clean. Bill greeted us and showed us around when we arrived, making sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of extra room with the sunroom and the bunkroom. Very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and various utensils. Views are so lovely! Dock is great to tie up your boat and there is a swimming pad you can swim to. Loved having ample wood for the campfire! And, there is a well maintained hot tub! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Girl’s weekend at the lake

Our group of 8 ladies enjoyed our stay at the lake cabin. Loved the hot tub and lake. Open concept kitchen/living room allowed us to all spend fine together. Liked the screened in porch for game night! The listing is a bit deceiving, in that two of the bedrooms are in their garage/bunkhouse, which meant 4 of the ladies had to walk outside and down steps to use the bathroom at night.

Lovely stay on lake Lucerne

Really loved the location , house was very nice, only thing was the air conditioning units, are a hazard with getting around them. Would love to go when the weather was better.as it was a cooler rainy week. But can't do anything about that. The deck and surroundings were really nice. Everything was pretty much as stated in the listing, I didn't get all the info until my stay was closer

Great cottage on beautiful Lake Lucerne

This is a very nice cottage with an updated kitchen and bath, newer full size washer and dryer, and well-maintained grounds. The cottage is VERY CLEAN and well stocked, including plastic ware, paper plates, coffee filters, paper towels, napkins, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, playing cards, firewood, etc. Household items that aren't always included that make a stay easier and more comfortable. Bill met us when we arrived, which was earlier than check-in, and showed us around and gave instructions on operating the hot tub, etc. We texted a few times during our stay and he was always quick to respond. Everything went well, and we appreciate the owners' thoughtfulness and hospitality. We highly recommend, and look forward to staying here again.

Perfect Lake Lucerne Summer Getaway

The host sweetly greeted us when we arrived and when we parted and was available if we had any questions. The cabin was perfect for our little family summer getaway. The cabin was well stocked, very clean, very comfortable & accommodating and even had air conditioning. The outdoor spaces were comfortable and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sparkling clear waters of Lake Lucerne and we appreciated the privacy that the cottage and outdoor spaces provided. The deck is amazing....spacious for entertaining, lots of seating options and great for relaxing and enjoying the views of the water, and the hot tub on the deck was a great bonus! The large dock was perfect for relaxing, fishing and comfortably docking our 19 foot fishing boat. The sunset campfires by the water were always a perfect ending to our day. We can't wait to rent the cottage again!

Beautiful cottage but concerns around privacy

The cottage was super clean, very comfortable and in a beautiful location on the lake. We hosted a dinner one evening during our stay with the rest of our family that was staying at another property on the lake & the family enjoyed swimming & the big hot tub as it was a cool evening. There were video cameras filming however outside facing the hot tub and the lake for swimming. Cameras were not disclosed in the listing & it was a privacy concern since kids & adults were in swim suits & little one changing. Additionally, we came back to the rental after being gone all day to find the owner on the property & coming into the rental without notifying us & that also felt very uncomfortable & really caused stress in addition to the cameras/filming. We would have loved to stay here again as Lake Lucerne is a place our family goes every summer but with the constant filming on the cameras & owner coming into the property, sadly I don’t think we will be comfortable staying in the future. I would like to ask the owner to make sure all filming during our stay is deleted for privacy concerns especially for the children. Thank you.
