It is very roomy! Enjoyed being right to the ocean. Needs to be updated with pots and pans, and bbq grill needs obe updated. Need to bring own linens otherwise you need topurchase them, and they are really cheap for the absorbent fee you pay to have supplied. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice and peaceful with great views

After the power company came and fixed the power issue on the 2nd day, we had A/C and non-flickering lights, so all was good. Wifi code was wrong but there is one on a refrigerator magnet that is correct. We plan to come back in the future.

Review

This house did not meet expectations. The one nice thing was the location to the beach and that’s it. There are multiple things that need updating and things that need fixed. There also needs to be full disclosure of the staircases in the description of the house.

Front row seats to beautiful beach Sunrises..

A snafu in getting into the home at check in made it a bit difficult. Once we got the door code conundrum sorted we walked in to a spacious home to house our teenage filled family. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds for us. The bathrooms were aplenty! The kitchen was clean and ready for us to cook in while we stayed there. (Just remember to bring your own salt and pepper!)The walk to the beach was incredibly convenient and easy!! The upstairs dwelling area with the living room, bedroom and eating area plus the deck outside was super comfy and inviting.The downstairs - 1st level living area was nice to have so that some of our teens could chill out. The decks, complete with chairs and swing were perfect to take in the sunrise and watch the ocean. The water spigot and outdoor shower within the trellis entry were great to wash the beach off before heading inside. However, I do wish there would have been more clarification on linens provided. We arrived not realizing that tucked far into the rental agreement we didn’t in fact pay for the linen service. Which was everything. We had to go and last minute buy sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and dish towels. Not what we were expecting to do after 14 hrs of driving.There was also a lack of basic hygiene supplies. Hand soap and toilet paper (at least a starter roll in each bathroom) would have been nice to have at arrival. But! We loved staying there and would definitely rent again!!

Great location property for Baby's Place

The location was perfect. Just what I wanted for our family. The house was very clean . As far as the condition of the house. It definitely needs a face lift. The layout of the house was great for our family. There were several older folks which made the spiral stairs challenging. I do not remember the spiril stairs being mentioned in the description of the house. It should be entered in the description of the house that there are two spiral stairs inside the house to get to each of the floors from the main floor.

The house had everything we needed and can’t beat that location! Across the street from beach with access through a short path over a low dune, outstanding views, and plenty of space for our 2 family group.

Family vacay 2023

The photos on line didn’t do the place justice. There were many upgrades. These should be highlighted. Also the photos showed a direct walk across to the beach but this was not the case. We had to walk up over a dune. This is not a problem unless you are 74 with asthma. I may have made a different selection. But the house and views were awesome and in a great location.

Family Fall Getaway

Our extended family stayed here together and had a great time. Easy access to the beach and still close to shopping and restaurants. The house is very roomy and perfect for big families with 2 complete kitchens and multiple seating areas.

2nd stay at Babes place

We love this place. As the title mentions it’s the second time we’ve stayed there and we love the views and the easy access to the beach!!! Enough room to fit the family but also enough room for us to get away from each other when we need to. Only issue was the three days or A/C units not working and night time temps min the house bing crazy high, but Michelle and Allison were great and in constant contact to ensure the problems were fixed. All in all love the place wish it was mine lol. Love the OBX!!!
