Welcome to Elora! Step into the past with our delightful 1913 American Four Square-styled home, cozied up in nearly two acres of tranquility. Sun-drenched rooms, a cozy library, and a dreamy kitchen await your stay. You'll adore our six spacious bedrooms and the timeless charm of our wrap-around porch. From sipping morning coffee to stargazing from the porch, at Elora, unforgettable memories are just a stay away!

Welcome to our spacious 1913 American Four Square home! This historic property boasts a generous layout with six bedrooms, or seven if you include the cozy sitting room. Additional sleeping accommodations can be found in the form of two pull-out beds, making the home perfectly suited for large family gatherings or group vacations.

Two full bathrooms provide ample convenience, and for your laundry needs, we offer a washer and dryer on-site. Additionally on site we have hair dryers and shower supplies for your convince.

While we maintain two beautiful fireplaces as part of the home's original aesthetic, we must inform you that they are inoperable. There is no indoor fireplace, however, you can be assured that you will remain comfortably warm through our efficient heating system. Our home features a heat pump and hot water radiators that keep the house warm when needed.

The kitchen is fully-equipped for all your culinary needs. However, please note that there is no garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. We kindly ask guests to utilize the provided trash disposal facilities. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a recycling service at this time.


Where You'll Be

Our home sits in the heart of an area rich with natural and local attractions. We are conveniently located near the George Washington National Forest, an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, as well as the intriguing Shenandoah Caverns and Endless Caverns.

Close by, you'll find a host of dining options, including a delightful seafood shop, a quaint ice cream shop, and a variety of local wineries and a cidery. To top it off, you're only a short walk away from the town park on the beautiful Shenandoah River.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home during their stay, giving you the freedom to enjoy and relax in all the indoor spaces provided. This includes all six (or seven, including the sitting room) bedrooms, the common areas, and the two bathrooms.

In addition, guests are free to explore and take advantage of our nearly 2-acre property. You're welcome to enjoy outdoor meals, play games, or simply unwind amidst the peaceful scenery.

However, please note that there are two exterior buildings on the property that are not included in your rental. These buildings are used by us for storage, and we kindly request that you do not attempt to access these areas.

Though our home is equipped with a kitchen for your convenience, there is no garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. We kindly ask that all waste be disposed of in the provided trash bins.

While our property boasts two beautiful, original fireplaces, please note that these are not operational and are purely decorative.

The two exterior buildings on the property are not accessible as they are used for storage.

We are nestled in an area rich with natural attractions and local amenities. However, transportation may be necessary to access some sites, so please plan accordingly.

No Smoking - This is a non-smoking property. Any evidence of smoking inside the property will result in a $200 fine.

Check-In/Check-Out Times - Check-in time is after 3 pm, and check-out time is by 11 am. Early check-ins or late check-outs must be pre-approved and may incur additional fees.

No Parties or Events - Our property is situated in a quiet residential area, and out of respect for our neighbors, parties or loud events are not permitted. Breaking this rule may result in a fine of $500 and immediate eviction.

Noise Restrictions - Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Failure to do so will result in a $100 fine.

Respect for Property - Please treat our home with the same care you would your own. Any damages or missing items will be charged at their full replacement cost.

Maximum Occupancy - The maximum number of guests is limited to the number stated in the booking. Additional guests without prior approval will result in a $50 fine per person, per night.

Cleaning Responsibilities - While we do have a professional cleaning service, we ask that you leave the space tidy. Excessive mess requiring additional cleaning will result in a $100 extra cleaning fee.

Pet Fee - We welcome your furry companions at our property! To ensure a comfortable stay for both you and your pet, we have a pet fee of $65. This fee helps cover additional cleaning and maintenance to maintain a pet-friendly environment.

Garbage Disposal - Please use designated bins for garbage and recycling. Not doing so will result in a $50 fine.

Parking - Please use the designated parking area and do not block neighboring driveways. Improperly parked vehicles may be fined $50.
