Light-Filled Cabin on Percich Pond! 10 minutes away from Friday Harbor!

This private, light filled A-frame retreat is centrally located on San Juan Island, and is just steps away from the Pelindaba Lavender Farm and minutes from whale watching and hiking on the Westside. It is less than 10 minutes to any major point on the entire island. Here, you can enjoy eagle spotting on the south-facing deck overlooking this 9-acre lake property, or take in the view through floor-to-ceiling windows from a comfy recliner inside the open concept living room and kitchen.

On this beautiful 15-acre pond you can hunt for frogs along the shoreline. Although watercraft are not provided, you can cast a reel from the dock and fish for smallmouth bass (no license required). And speaking of the deck, there is a nice gas BBQ and outdoor seating and eating area. Enjoy watching the ducks, swans and other waterfowl floating on the calm waters year-round or watching junior sailing lessons on sunny July afternoons.

The home is set up with 2 main-floor bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a full galley-style kitchen and cozy living room enhanced by the large pond-facing windows. The primary bedroom is equipped with private sliding-door entrance to the deck, a king sized bed, and a 3/4 bathroom with in walk-in shower. Guests will also have access to the laundry room just past the primary bedroom. The guest room is equipped with a queen bed, and a full bathroom is adjacent to the guest room. A sleeper-sofa is supplied in the living room, as well as a new Smart TV for streaming your favorite tv services.

Free internet/Wi-Fi access. Download Speed: 8.3 Mbps, Upload Speed: 1.63 Mbps. San Juan Island is a remote location and it is good to keep in mind that intermittent, short, Wi-Fi disruptions are very normal for this area.

There is a 1:12 pitch wheelchair ramp to access the home and two exterior 3' doors. The house is wheelchair 'friendly'.

***Please Note***
We do not have any boats for guests to use on the pond. Any other boats(rowboat, kayaks...) are our neighbors and are absolutely off limits. Please be respectful during your stay.

This house is on a lovely piece of property. It has a great view of the pond. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. It was well stocked with dishes, towels, pots and pans. The beds were very comfortable as was the living room furniture. The bathrooms and laundry were well stocked with detergent, shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. It was perfect for 4 adults!

2-night stay at San Juan Island

What a lovely property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were enchanted with our house by the pond. Totally relaxing and we enjoyed the bald eagle couple that frequents the pond area! We highly recommend this location!

Beautiful Spot

Amazing location, off the main tourist area and secluded away for your own little quiet private getaway. Centrally located so traveling anywhere on the area is super convenient. Would recommend anyone staying on the island to check this listing out.

We did have a problem with the TV, it would not allow us to access any of the channels. Because it was a Smart TV we were able to project shows from our phone. Otherwise the stay was excellent and met our expectations.

This property was wonderful! It is quiet and really a place you can relax. We did yoga on the private dock in the morning. Lounging in the master bed with view of the pond and mountain range makes you want to stay there all day. The kitchen is well stocked. It was really nice to have washer and dryer available so we could pack light. We would happily stay here again!

It was really peaceful and nice.. the only issue was the mud on the dirt road in front of the house.. it was muddy and sloppy and my husband’s front drive car got stuck in the mud and he had to have a tow truck pull him out.. they need gravel on that road or something..

Private Retreat

This home is very quiet and relaxing, with beautiful views of the pond and surrounding property. Peaceful, private, and in a great location to access all that the island has to offer. We had an issue with the house and Jamie went above and beyond to fix the issue.

Nice setting, all the amenities you need

We were here to visit family only a little ways away. It was an easy drive. The place was spacious. We had a couple kids who used the sofa sleeper and it had a mattress cover and pillows but we couldn’t find the extra sheets, but were able to make fo with the extra blankets we found. We look forward to future stays.

We very much enjoyed our stay on Perpich Pond. We spent relaxing mornings and evenings at the cabin and spent the days exploring the island. Some nice weather allowed us to take advantage of the huge deck with the great lake view. We ate most meals out so we didn't get much opportunity to use the kitchen but it does seem well stocked. Lots of wine glasses! We rented electric bikes from Cycle San Juan - Thomas & Jeff made our last minute decision to bike a possibility. We visited South Beach, Cattle Point lighthouse, Fish Creek, Fourth of July Beach, Lime Kiln State Park (didn't see any whales), Roche Harbor Sculpture Garden (fabulous) and did many geocaches. We ate and drank: Friday Harbor House (very nice), JP's Restaurant (surprisingly good), McMillin's (good food & drinks), San Juan Island Brewing (good beer), Salty Fox (excellent breakfast sandwiches).

Delightful location, parking limitations

This was a lovely place to stay. The house is comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The view from every room is peaceful and we enjoyed watching the many birds that came by. A great place to spend a rainy weekend! The only issue was parking. The listing states that there is parking for 2 cars, but there is only room for one car next to the ramp, and other parking spaces were not defined.

Excellent beautiful setting

My eight year old daughter and I spent a week here. Very spacious for two people. Lots of kitchen equipment and an outdoor propane grill made cooking easy. Close enough to many of the places one would want to go, but we also spent time watching frogs turtles fish and a pair of otters (who we only saw the first morning, though admittedly we were out and about a lot). Nice yard for throwing a frisbee and flying a kite. My daughter lived the spiral staircase and wants one in our one floor apartment (!!). We have already put this on a list for a repeat visit.
