Dragon’s Keep is like a hidden treasure on the boardwalk in Long Beach!

Dragon’s Keep is like a hidden treasure on the boardwalk in Long Beach! This exotic themed rental is the perfect place for your family and friends to get away and relax! This 2-bedroom condo is on the ground floor at the Windward Passage Condominiums and features a patio with views of the dunes and the beach. Dragon’s Keep is especially good for watching the Kite Festival or July 4th fireworks – you’re front and center for the festivities! Or enjoy the view of our winter storms and clamming. The evening clam tides in the fall make the beach look like the Milky Way, with hundreds of lanterns stretching from Seaview in the south to the northern tip of the Peninsula. Dog friendly (2 Max) [NO CATS ALLOWED]

The living room at Dragon’s Keep features cable TV, Free WiFi,VCR, DVD and stereo plus 2 futons [suitable for small/medium children] Note: the futon broke January 2022 and will no longer open full-size. Owner is working on a replacement.
The kitchen and dining area share the same airy space as the living room, with fabulous views of the beach. One especially nice feature is the elegant dragon kite that curls its way along the living and dining ceiling. It's one of many nice dragons used in the decor. The master bedroom on the ocean side has its own view of the surf. It has a king bed and large full bath. The quiet second bedroom has a queen bed and adjacent ¾ bath. Dragon’s Keep can sleep up to 4 Adults and 2 small/medium sized children. Your canine friend is welcome too – when reserving please let us know if you’ll be bringing any dogs (2 Max). There’s a full-size utility room with washer and dryer for your use. There is one covered parking space; additional vehicles can park in uncovered spots that are NOT painted "RESERVED".

Enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula! Dragon’s Keep is one of the best locations you can find here – an easy walk to beach activities, the Discovery Trail or downtown. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf, the arcade and carnival rides are just a few blocks away. The nearby Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with SandSations in July and the International Kite Festival in August.

There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.

*********THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING********
NO refunds due to inclement weather.

BIKES at Windward Passage Condominium:
Just a heads up on bike parking at Windward Passage Condominiums; bikes can be stored on the bike rack in front of the elevator [ on floors 1,2, and 3 NO RACK OF 4TH FLOOR ]. Please do not store bikes in the unit or on back decks.
If you have a locking bike rack on your vehicle, that would work as well. Bike's are not allowed to be locked to railings near front door or on back decks due to the HOA rules.
Terms of the Agreement:
The person identified on the reservation is the Guest/Tenant and Pacific Realty Property Management is the Landlord. By accepting this agreement prior to booking your reservation, the Guest/Tenant agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Reservations: Guest/Tenant must be over 25 years old to make a reservation. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or a check may be used to make payment. Payment-in-full is due at time of booking unless other arrangements are made with Pacific Realty Property Management. (For approved arrangements, the balance is due no later than 30 days prior to commencement of rental date). Any changes made to a reservation, after it is booked, may result in a $25 processing fee.

Security Deposit: All Guest/Tenants will pay a refundable security deposit of $150.00 - $300.00, depending on the property. By accepting the Agreement, the Guest/Tenant agrees that Landlord may charge the credit or debit card on file for any additional amount if the security deposit collected at the time of booking is not sufficient enough to pay for damage, theft or excessive cleaning as a result of Guest/Tenant's tenancy. Guest/Tenant also agrees to the cancellation policy below and to all terms and conditions of Landlord's vacation rental guest policies. The cleaning fee will not be waived under any circumstances.

Amenities: All amenities are subject to down time due to repair or maintenance. If necessary, a reservation could be cancelled, or Guest/Tenant relocated into another property if available.

PRPM Cancellation Policy: A reservation is a commitment on our part to hold your accommodations open for your arrival and is a request for us to turn away any other potential guests on the requested dates. It is an agreement telling us that you are willing to be completely responsible for payment for those dates even if your plans or circumstances change.

Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid [excluding the non-refundable Administrative Fee]. If you cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50% [excluding the non-refundable Administrative Fee]. Otherwise, you won't get a refund. If you cancel with less than 14 days' notice, we will make every effort to re-book the house for those dates. You may receive a pro-rated refund if we can re-book part of your reservation; otherwise, your payment is forfeited. Under certain, case-by-case circumstances, we may help arrange re-scheduling a stay; having up to 1 year to use reservation-credit. NOTE: There will be no refund for early departures or inclement weather...under any circumstances.

VRBO Cancellation Policy: MODERATE: Cancel at least 30 days before the start of stay: 100% refund OR, cancel at least 14 days before the start of stay: 50% refund [excluding the non-refundable Administrative Fee]
AIRBNB Cancellation Policy: STRICT: Cancel up to 30 days before your trip and get a full refund, including all fees. Cancel within 30 days of the trip and get a 50% refund of the total nightly rate, as well as a full refund of fees [excluding the non-refundable Administrative Fee]

Should the reserved accommodations become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Landlord's control, Landlord will offer to cancel and refund the payment. Other accommodations, if available, may be reserved at the rates then current.

Use and Occupancy: This is a license to enter only; it may be revoked at any time.

For the comfort of all guests, no smoking of any kind is allowed. Evidence of smoking inside the premises or tampering with and/or disabling any smoke detection equipment will result in immediate revocation of this license to enter. Evidence of smoking will constitute a forfeiture of your deposit. Guest/Tenant will be liable and the credit card on file will be charged for any repair costs for furnishings, smoke detection equipment, as well as possible criminal charges, if applicable. In addition, no campfires (unless the home has a designated fire pit) or fireworks are allowed at the property. Campfires and fireworks are only allowed on the beach, 100 feet or more away from the dune grass.

Fisherman, please note: Fish and/or shellfish must NOT be cleaned inside the rental. Please place any fish/shellfish garbage into a trash bag and tie it tightly. Remove tied trash bag from home and place in garage trash can (where provided) or inside the outdoor trash receptacle located on the property grounds.

Guest/Tenant shall not assign this Agreement, sublet the premises, give accommodations to any roomers/lodgers, or permit the premises to be used for any purpose other than a private dwelling solely for registered Guest and registered invitees listed.

No tent camping, RVs, trailers or camper trailers are allowed at any time.

Rules and Regulations: By accepting this reservation the Guest/Tenant and all registered or unregistered invitees give consent to being asked to leave immediately, if the Guest/Tenant and invitees do not comply with rules of the house, any rules and regulations of a Condo Association, and/or any rules, regulations, covenants, and restrictions of a Homeowners Association. Any unlawful activity will be reported immediately to the appropriate law enforcement jurisdiction.

The Landlord has the right to inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Guest violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period.

Great floorplan for 3 generations
Altho the condo is old and dated, it worked well for us. Our daughter and her boys brought their dog. We had plenty of room for both of our families. We easily walked to the beach and downtown Long Beach. The view of the marsh with the boardwalk and ocean beyond it is lovely. The furniture, linens and kitchen supplies could use a refresh. We would stay there again because of its proximity to town, the great floorplan and the view.

We took a little beach vacation to the Wa coast. I had a question prior to our check in and received a quick response back.This was the first time visiting Long Beach, we arrived after hrs to pick up the keys for the condo and were presently surprised how easy it was to find Pacific's Rentals office. They left a detailed map with helpful instructions. Once we arrived we were very happy with the accommodations, cute aesthetics, fully stocked kitchen, detailed info on where to eat and info on how to run the remote controls for the TVs...so helpful. BEST of all the location was amazing!! I 100% will be booking again!
