Listing not accurate

Listing is not accurate. There are three bedrooms-not 4. One bedroom has 2 beds in it. The bathrooms were bare bones, with older looking towels provided. We could see ants in one of the bathrooms. One bed did not have pillows provided. None of the 3 couches were pull out couches as listed. The kitchen has a paper towel dispenser (which was empty) and a first aid kit hanging on the wall. The hot water in the master bathroom did not work. The wifi did not stay connected-made it impossible to watch tv or use streaming services. The house was nice enough, but not very inviting or decorated. Luckily we read other reviews and brought our own supplies, blankets, towels, etc. The house was in a great location and served the purpose, but could be improved. Zero issues checking in.

Good Potential

While this has the potential to be a great, roomy, family retreat in a convenient location, it needs some work. It's listed incorrectly. It's not 4 bedrooms plus a fold-out couch. It's 3 bedrooms, one of which has 2 beds in it. There are 3 sofas in the house, each one long enough for one adult to lay on, but none of them have a fold-out bed and there are no spare linens laid out. Most surfaces seem clean, but there were some dirty sticky spots on the master sink. It's great that the whole house has hard surface floors, but the bottom of our feet quickly got dirty walking on them. The shower pan floor could use a good bleach cleaning. Supplies were sparse. One bathroom had 4 bath towels but no hand towels. Other bathroom had 3 bath towels and 3 hand towels. Neither had washcloths or bath mats for the floor. There were no dish cloths or dish towels or a sponge, so we couldn't hand wash dishes easily. There was a paper towel dispenser in the kitchen. We were given only 1 dishwashing pod. With 6 adults for 4 nights, that wasn't enough. The kitchen could use a cutting board, a usable frying pan and a spatula at least to make cooking feasible. They did provide basic spices and some snacks, which was very kind. There are lots of plates, bowls and mugs, but no drinking glasses. I hope the owners take our review to heart and improve their rental. It has good potential!
