Not great!
This was a 2 bedroom apartment and the king bedroom was not cleaned when we checked in! The bed was unmade and been slept in and the bathroom had dirty towels on the floor. Contacted VRBO and they were apologetic and was sending the cleaner back that day, however, he was an hour and a half away and it was rush hour traffic. We were offered a partial refund off the cleaning fee. Received confirmation it was taken care of while we were at dinner, returned to the apartment to the same dirty bedroom/bathroom. Contacted VRBO again and apparently the cleaner was confused, he came in and took out the trash from the kitchen and left. We ended up having to sleep on the couch until the cleaner can come back out the next day. We were also unable to use the dirty bathroom to shower or get ready for the day. I was told they can not discuss compensation and a supervisor will be reaching to me personally the next day. We never heard from anyone. I had to keep emailing them, and finally they responded and offered a total refund of cleaning fee. I don't believe that is acceptable as we were already offered the partial clean fee. The additional cleaning fee doesn't seem appropriate. We paid over 3k for this condo (5 nights) and do not think the cleaning fee itself is enough given the frustration we had to deal with as well as having to sleep on an uncomfortable couch on night #1. They did come back the next morning and cleaned the king bedroom, the rest of the stay was fine.
