Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is inside a traditional Swiss chalet with postcard views of the Alps and Lake Brienz. Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is the perfect place for 1-2 adults to have a real Swiss experience, and it is the most authentic way to fall in love with Switzerland. Located only a 7 minute walk uphill from the main train station to provide you the good views.

The space
Designed with comfort in mind, Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is ideal for self sufficient travelers who do not smoke/vape. It is a 25m2 (277sf) ground level studio apartment inside a traditional Swiss chalet and includes 2 very comfortable beds, free washer/dryer, private ensuite bathroom inside the apartment, private ensuite kitchen inside the studio apartment, free parking, desk + printer, and everything you need to feel at home.

SLEEPING
Two natural latex mattress beds on 2 separate bed frames (each measuring 90cm x 200cm / 35.5in x 78.74in) with luxurious down feather pillows and down feather duvet blankets. The beds do not have any space between them when they are together and can be easily separated if you want to have space between the beds.

BED LINENS / TOWELS
All bed linens are provided.
Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths are provided.
Shower essential are also provided

KITCHEN
Inside your private Swiss Chalet apartment is a kitchen with dishes, silverware + chopsticks, drinking/wine/coffee cups, pots/pans, oven, knives, cutting boards, spices, Nespresso coffee maker, hot water kettle, Raclette + Fondue sets, rice cooker, microwave, bread toaster, and refrigerator with freezer.

LAUNDRY
Free use of a washer/dryer + detergent inside the chalet in a shared laundry room

Free parking directly across the street from the chalet (see photos for location information)

LOCATION
Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is only 5-7 minutes walk to public transportation (Brienz BE train station & Ferry Boat Dock), grocery, attractions, hiking trails, and Lake Brienz where you can walk along the promenade or relax lakeside in the free blue lounge chairs. Lake Brienz is famous for its natural turquoise color and perfect for all water activities such as swimming, renting motorboats, pedal boats, SUP's, and even hot tub boats!

Brienz is the most accessible and affordable village in the Interlaken area, located on the shores of the famous Lake Brienz, with dozens of restaurants, the Brienz Rothornbahn, two SBB train stations, a ferry boat stop, three grocery stores, a movie theater, a free zoo, wood carving demonstrations, violin making demonstrations, Ballenberg Open Air Museum, numerous walking paths and hiking trails, waterfalls, and a beautiful lake promenade.

COOLING/HEATING
No A/C, but screened windows stop the bugs while letting in fresh Swiss Alpine air, and a floor fan is also provided. In the winter, underfloor heating and radiators keep things cozy, plus a portable heater for extra warmth is available upon request.

Guest access
Self check-in with smartlock...no keys. Code will be sent to you prior to arrival. You will have access to the entire studio apartment with private ensuite bathroom, 1 free parking space, and free use of a private washer/dryer in a shared laundry room. Outside in front of the chalet on the terrace is a table + 2 chairs for your private use.

Other things to note
* Adults-only retreat designed for two self-sufficient travelers

* No smoking or vaping inside or outside on the chalet property; smoking can only be done at a minimum distance of across the street to protect the lung cancer survivor who lives in another apartment in the chalet (read house rules for more details)

* Please no pets/animal

* Towels provided include: 4 bath towels (2 in bathroom + 2 extra in wardrobe), 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths. If this will be insufficient, please let us know prior to arrival

* Grocery stores in Brienz are closed on Sunday. Please plan accordingly. A nearby convenience store is open 7 days/week

* No air conditioning, but two of the windows have insect screens which allow you to open them bringing inside the fresh air from the Swiss Alps. A mobile floor fan is inside the studio if you need to use it. Underfloor heating and radiators keep the space cozy in the winter and a mobile floor heater is available upon request.

* Chalet is approximately 7-minute walk uphill from the main train station, which is how you get the good views.

Swiss chalets are designed with multiple apartments inside the chalet and Chalet Lulu Brienz Studio is part of this traditional way of living because it is 1 of 4 private apartments inside the large chalet building. Each apartment is private and separate from the others. The only shared areas are the main hallway, the laundry room, and your outside patio (because it's in front of the Chalet) ....everything else is private.
