These properties need upgrading. Our condo was simply minimal. Noisey refridgerator. No real storage for two people. Minimal hangers in cupboard. Sofa worn down and hard to sit in. Nice people but not set up well. Garbage room was awful and filthy

Great location close to the mountain and plenty of dining options. Kitchen was stocked with the neccesary cookware and was nice to have to make meals. Would stay again next time in whistler for a ski trip!

Great location not so great unit

First thing we noticed was our white socks became black from the carpet. Counter and dishes had to be washed. Shower nozzle blasted water like it was exfoliating our skin. Simple fix but not fixed. Bed should be updated. We could feel the wire springs. Not good to sleep on. There was only one luggage cart with a pad lock on it. Time it took to walk ove get the key and return, it was easier to make 4 trips arriving and 4 at departure from unit.

Disappointed with old and worn out furniture

We were very disappointed with the old and worn out furnisher, the dishes and kitchen items were miss matched as well. We love Whistler and this location is great. Although we won’t be back to this unit. It is worn out and is not being taken care of. Very disappointing.

Really good except retrieving the key fob

Good, except getting and returning the fob. It’s about 20 min walk round trip and if you have luggage, it can be quite a chore. Maybe the fobs could be programmed to work only on the days rented and mailed to renter in a dropbox in the lobby of the lodge you’re staying at?

Cleaning

There’s stained mug and dishes in the dishwasher waiting to be washed, I need to rub those stains by hand before dishwashing. There’s Little Rock’s and dirt all over the carpet when we first move in. I need to vacuum it before use. The Bathtub was it so cleaned, slimy soap scum felt under our feet when we first use it. The laundry room is filthy. It should be more tidy. Otherwise, it’s a great place.

Great location

Awesome location in the center of the whistler village. Lots of space, easy check in process, good underground parking, washer and dryer was convenient, nice gas fireplace, wifi and TV worked well. Only thing that could be improved was the kitchen supplies could have been a little better stocked. So for example, only two small plates, two bowls, no mixing bowl or wooden spoon. Also, in the bedroom, you'll absolutely hear the noise of the village traffic. We were there on a rainy Thanksgiving weekend so it was less busy and you can definitely hear everything at night. For example if people are speaking loudly under the village gazebo which is right outside the room, it will disturb you. Other than that great stay and we would return.

Great find

Close to the village, location is perfect, the fridge and bed could use a little updating (the freezer makes weird noises at night) but I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again! 5 stars!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and had everything we required but was dated and bit run down, the bed linens were clean but not fresh (smelled as if they had been in storage for awhile) The location on the square was excellent and surprisingly quiet with the windows closed. Getting the key to the room required pick up at one hotel and getting the key to the luggage cart from another, check in was a bit complicated and finding the parking garage even more so. We never did find the hot tub as it was in another hotel and the staff at Deer Lodge were less than helpful. I give our experience a 3 star rating and would probably choose another location for our next visit.

Reviewer Comments: Bear Lodge was our home away from home during our recent white Christmas experience - it was brilliant! It was an older apartment in a perfect location downtown and had a gorgeous view of the street lights. It was beautifully warm and cosy, well appointed with a large size oven - big enough for the enormous turkey we cooked for Christmas dinner. The washing machine and dryer were also large in size and heavy duty. The location was only a few minutes walk from the grocery and liquor store in one direction, then close by in the other direction was "Mongolie Grill" the restaurant that became our favourite "go to" place on cooks night off! The movie theatre is also close by. Great storage for ski/snowboard equipment as well. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
